The countdown is on! This Saturday, September 16th, Greedy Genius is doing their second launch of sneakers. In this package there is a line up of 6 great sneakers and matching T-shirts to match. If you never even held a pair of GG’s in your hand or even tried them on…. then don’t even argue or even compare them to Bapes by what you heard on message boards,,,….. that make you a “follow the leader boy”…. ….. and I think its pretty “loser-like” to try to rag on someone here about their grammar. Does it bother you that much that he didn’t do a manual spell check ? LOL. This isn’t a English class. GG’s are sneakers made by sneakerheads for sneakerheads. IM RICH SNITCH-not once in my comment did i mention that i have ever bought/own a pair of BAPES,nor do i have plans to purchase BAPES and waste my hard earned cash! i rock jordans, foamposites,barkleys,dunks, and reebok instapumps furys and i may have a total of 30 pairs of shoes, but i never professed that i am a sneakerhead and do not pretend to know all the details of every shoe that was ever created! do you? so check yourself and don’t try to grill me until you know the facts! you may want to try reading my comment a bit slower and maybe more than 20 times and have someone older sit next to you and help you out with the big words if you don’t comprehend! and you called me the dumb@55? my comments about both BAPE and GG were strictly from visual inspection via internet,magazines, and by seeing them in stores, but i’ve never tried them on and again, as far as aestethics (check your dictionary for that one retard) i believe BAPE is better looking and more creative. as far as the difference in quality between the two shoes, i’ll have to go w/ what the masses say on the many blogs on the internet or in magazine reviews. i own a couple of BAPE t-shirts that i bought at the london store in 2003 and the quality is excellent. by the way, your grammar sucks! are you a 5th grader from compton? “your being fooled…” is wrong! it’s either “you’re or you are”! stupid! also “you should of compared…” should read “you should have or should’ve”! you’re believably retarded! what’s unfortunate for you is that you’re probably 30 years old!

KING NEPTUNE VA BEACH- please dont compare Greedy Genius to Bape. Bape is a crappy shoe. My bapes are done after one wear its like the patent leather they use is made from the same material they use to make potato chips bags. Greedy Genius quality is far superior to Bape…thats not even a comparison. If you such a sneaker head then you surely would of compared for yourself in person already. Cuz if Greedy is a 300M then bape is a VW Bug selling for 250k. BAPE = CHEAP QUALITY & OVERPRICED. Your being fooled dumba$$!!! Go give them your money, pay them $300 for a piece crap $8 sneaker that will fall apart when you wear it. hahaha

DA BIZNESS-the fact that you’re a lifestyle writer doesn’t lend you credibility or the crown of king of fashion. because of you, kids and even adults over the age of 40 are wearing white undershirts that are 6 times their normal size,jorts(jean shorts), cubic ziroconia, and rocking their underwear in plain sight! also, i don’t care if GG were the first to drink ZIMA or wear rat tails! they will still be considered a poor man’s BAPE. they are the chrysler 300M of the shoegame!

I haven’t seen the entire GG collection, but this example is unimpressive and unoriginal. the blue patent leather shoe is the best example in that it’s a knock-off of a BAPESTA shoe, which is actually a knock-off of a nike design, more specifically the air force one. i’ll give props to nigo for putting his own twist on a classic nike shoe by cutting out the swoosh and adding a star, offering unusual color combos, using alot of patent leather, which by the way, many shoe companies weren’t using at the time, and making it in limited quantities. in my opinion, i favor the BAPE design over the NIKE one. now unlike nigo, the boys at GG didn’t put their own spin on the AF1, but instead made it look more like a BAPE, and thus failed in trying to change the game due to their lack of sneaker design creativity. the design of the other two shoes wouldn’t make my top 30 list and the color combos are strange and seem to be more geared to the pre-teen male or female set. in retrospect, i probably could’ve rocked the yellow/blue/green shoe back in the 80’s w/ my acid-wash jeans and my “buckwheat says otay” t-shirt(from the LITTLE RASCALS tv show). as far the t-shirts are concerned, the graphics don’t separate themselves from all the other t-shirt companies out there that cater to hip hop/hipster/skater/yuppies. i’m guessing with all the hip hop hype they’ve received, GG will probably hustle roughly $50 a t-shirt because of it’s so-called limited availability and the fact that slim thug was caught wearing one in a video. those aren’t good enough reasons for me to spend that much cash on them. i also can’t believe IM RICH SNITCH paid $500 for a pair! L0L! GG hustled you for a shoe that cost $50 to make in a sweatshop! you could’ve bought 4 pairs of the jordan IV this past weekend! may i ask you if you’re $500 GG’s are made of some exotic leather like alligator that was dyed,stretched, and hand made by buck-naked, beautiful, buxom blonde virgin? i think SNITCH is a trend humper and is waiting for GG to jump-off so he can say he was the first at his school to rock them! what a joke! by the way, i’m on a mission to bring TROOP back to the forefront of hip hop fashion! WHO’S WITH ME?! oh by the way, i personally know that PHARRELL CAN’T SKATE!

I don’t like there kicks or shirts. Why give them props for stealing ideas from otha sneaker companies design. That’s like giving all these people who bootlegging nike’s kicks props. They may make the same kicks but they basically the same just without the check.I’ll give them props when they come up with there own design n not pieces from other sneakers or the same kick design with a missing check. Step ya game up if your that good make ur own kick design from scratch.

hello good people, I’m a writer for a lifestyle magazine that most of you so called sneaker heads probably jerk off to every night, and news flash, if you were born in the 80’s, your a toy, i have sneakers older than most of you, my point is this, at least these guys r of the culture, I heard that they were polo heads in the 80’s/ 90’s and some of the first cats to rock evisu and Bape in the mid 1990’s, sound like trendsetter’s that have paved the way to me, in any event without selling out to dept. stores or hip hop hype, while at the magic show in Vegas I heard these guys shut it down and did major buisness out of a private penthouse, step your game up kiddies, looks like they are here to stay.
