Nike has been giving special treatment to the Air Max regulars, but one iconic Air Max running shoe that has been left out for a bit is the Air Max Burst. Footlocker Europe has received these original color ups of the the retro sneaker that “burst” onto the scene in ‘94. Sadly there is no news of these or any other Bursts hitting US doors anytime soon.

The Burst originally got its name from the way that the heel Air Max “burst” out of the sides and back of the shoe. Sadly, the midsole and Air units of these have undergone an extreme makeover like almost every other Air Max shoe and no long live up to their name with a smaller thinner Air Max unit and a bubble that barely protrudes the EVA midsole.
