Detailed Look: “New York Yankees” Lebron 5
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jan 29, 2008| Just a few weeks ago we gave you a sneak peek of the New York Yankees Edition Lebron 5’s. Surprisingly these sneakers made news well beyond the sneaker culture made the news on sites like ESPN, CNBC, and CNN.
Now thanks to edtrigger of Kenlu, we have some detailed shots that due the shoes justice. Expect to see these drop on March 5th at the House of Hoops which is the same day that Lebron will take the court to play the Knicks at the Garden. Info via Sneaker News. |

I never play base ball but, I follw baseball & one of my fave teams is the New York Yankees!
These would be a good pair of sneakers for me to wear to school! Everyone at my school would die for a pair of shoes these fresh! I’d have to hide them so that no one else can steal them from me.

For anyone that knows about LeBron, they’ll KNOW he grew up in Akron, Ohio - he’s not from Cleveland.
Second, he grew up a YANKEES fan, even though he IS just a few miles from Cleveland.
I’m in Durham, NC. and I grew up a San Francisco 49′ers fan as well as a Bulls fan… NEVER on a bandwagon.
And LAST, to say ALL of LeBron’s sneak’s were ugly EXCEPT the 1’s, you’re definitely a FOOL and no “sneakerhead in my eyes.
Because a true head would know that his kicks got better at #’s 2, 3 & 4.
The 5’s are just an example of how FAR his signature line will progress, idiot. - KICKZyes (oh yes!)
