Provider x New Balance 1500 Sneakers
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jan 30, 2008| New Balance has been producing some memorable collabs with shops like Size?, Collette, and Solebox to name a few. This time New Balance has teamed up with Aussie sneaker shop Provider to put together a limited 1500.
Beautiful blue with shades of grey dominate this simple, yet eye catching sneaker. These were debut in an interview that Provider did with Sneaker Freaker. As for the kicks, look for them to release in March. |

Nice Kicks has really turned me onto New Balance in a big way. I used to think of New Balance as just some 2 for $89.99 shoes at Champs, but I really have learned that they make some of the illest ish!
I know that these are probably going to set me back 2 bills since its overseas, but thats fine with me. Good quality shoe, ill colorway, exclusive as a motha, and comfortable! What else could one ask for?!

man new balance has really stepped up their game. i only wish they would start doing some more worldwide releases instead of these really limited releases. first the toothpaste ones and now these, com’on new balnce ur killing me

^ I agree. I heard from Ronnie @ David Z that New Balance is going to give him the MT580 though which is a SICK silhouette that has long been used as a collab piece in Japan only.
New Balance has also created a “Secret Stash” account tier according to one of my boys that sprinkles a few UK and Euro New Balances in the US.
Overall I think that New Balance is a major brand for sneakerheads. Like Sneak Fan said, quality materials, good colorways, and comfortable - tell me what else I need in a shoe.

Come on now, where you guys been? New Balance just getting respect now. Where’s the love for the New Balance x Colette 1500s (both the 1st and 2nd edition were very clean), if your just catching onto New Balance lately you must of be living in hole. Wake up!
