Shoe Biz x Puma California “Haight”
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jan 23, 2008
From the PUMA® archives in 1982, this shoe is one of the cornerstones of the brand; PUMA is bringing back the PUMA California. To celebrate the reintroduction of this iconic style PUMA is releasing three distinct renditions drawing from the rich Californian lifestyle.
Shoe Biz pays homage to its home town, San Francisco, with its own version of the PUMA Cali. The Shoe Biz Cali draws from the bay area with elements that include the San Francisco skyline and the on the insole, the Muni bus line on the heel of the shoe. Instead of the “California†that is usually on the quarter logo tag, the Shoe Biz Cali references Haight and Asbury Street. The Shoe Biz dinosaur logo appears on the insole as well as on the tongue tag. Available only at Shoe Biz and limited to 150 this is definitely going to be a something special for the bay area.
