New York Yankees Edition Lebron 5
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jan 15, 2008| Lebron wasn’t popular with Tribe Fans last October after walking into Jacobs Field where hometown Cleveland Indians were facing off against the Yankees. Lebron defended himself repeatedly that he had been a Yankees fan well into his younger years.
I doubt that Lebron will be winning over any more Indian’s fans with these kicks - Yankees inspired Zoom Lebron V. This pair sports the classic navy and white pinstripes along with his jersey number 23 on the tongue just as though he was a retired Yankee holding his place in history above the left field fence. What is also sure to anger a few more Indian’s fans, as well as citizens of Ohio, is that the shoe removes the state of Ohio from the sole and replaces it with his Yankeeish number. Great looking pair of kicks for off the court, but don’t expect to see Lebron throwing out the opening pitch wearing them. Pics via kenlu.net. |
