Air Jordan XX3 at All Star Weekend

As usual, the All Star Game brought a lot of great sneakers, but the ones that caught our eye the most were the Air Jordan XX3s. Kicking the weekend off on Friday, Jordan Brand team member Terrell Owens took home the MVP from the McDonald’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game wearing the “All Star” Air Jordan XX3 as he threw down 18 points including a slam dunk in his efforts for his team to win the game.
Game time came with Air Jordan team members lacing up for the big game in their signature shoes with Melo in the M4, Chris Paul in the CP3, and Ray Allen, Joe Johnson, and RIP Hamilton in the XX3. Ray Allen wore the Titanium Jordan XX3 while Joe and RIP sported some East team colorway exclusives. After halftime, and down 9 points, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony ditched their signature shoes for some special West team colorway exclusives, though a hot look, not enough to overcome the deficit.

xx3 to me is by far the best jordan ever. I have the “old love” now and wanted to buy the black as well as the green (celtics) if ever it comes out of production.

Rip doesn’t have on Titaniums, as someone may have said already.
The blue on Rip’s are too dark to be the Titaniums.
And ‘Melo actually changed his XX3’s to his ‘Melo PE in the 2nd qtr.
Anyway…
The XX3 is a better shoe than I previously thought it was.
They remind me a lot of the XIII, especially the Flint’s when looking at them on the courts. (Ray Allen’s to be exact)
Just waiting on the B/R colorway. Still might go cop the All Star edition later today.

Jordan will not release the all-star PE verisions of the XX3, they have enought colorways coming out that will be bought regardless. From a players perspective you wouldnt feel like your brand was treating you right if it hooked up the gen public with the exact same version of your shoe. They release the same shoe, often in similar colors, but those guys all had custom shoes made for each one of them to commemorate their all star achievenment. CP got his sigs, Mello got his sigs, RIP, RAY, and JJ all got different colors of the XX3 just for them. To me, looking at the titaniums and the Rays, there may only be the slighest difference(His late selection to the game may explain why they didnt have a shoe for him if those are indeed the titaniums). We have 5 confirmed colorways to release/released for the shoe and it appears a 6th (from the DVD) will show up in aug/sept but that is rummored.
I like the RIP PE’s best, I think 4 of the 6 GR’s are better than the rest, but seein them in Celtics(home) colors tops them all.

Can’t be the “reallest” and all hype & giddy cuz you POSTED FIRST,SECOND,& THIRD comments that kidish. Just about all the kicks is Str8 & Ray Allen was should have got that MVP. Lebron was ballin but Ray Allen is who won it for the East.

You guys are really stupid they are not titanums that ray are wearing they are much darker than the titaniums they were specialy made for the allstar colors. jeez get your colors right if you match those with titanums they are different colors

chris paul wore the xx3’s in the first half then swithched to his shoes in the second half, he didnt start in his shoes like you guys said. I think hamiltons xx3’s are the cleanest by far, the reds to dark on all the west ones and joe johnsons are just ugly, to much goin on with them

melo changed his shoes if you look very closely in the last picture with joe johnson (melo is wearing his M4) and the pic where he is wearing the really nice XX3pe west that would awesome to do just be like oh im going to change my shoes now to the jordans . in my opinion the nicest xx3’s yet are the west PE color way. plus sugar ray should have won mvp because he had 12 points all on threes in the last 3 minutes which is ludicrous.

The Titanium 23 are ILL. But I think the Nash Trash Talk got lost in all of the 23 glory. I’m wanting a closer look @ this ground-breaking sneaker that uses all recycled materials.

1st, the Ray Allens are NOT Titaniums….the blue is wayyy too dark to be them. They are just another version of PE XX3s since the Titaniums were more like UNC colors. Look at the pics!
2nd, The Melos/CP XX3 PEs (aka West XX3s) are str8 ridiculous! I want me some of those crack babies.
3rd, More than anything I want them RIP PE XX3s. I love the white/blue/little bit of red color way. I would rok the $hit out of them in the summer. (the RIPs, not the Johnsons)
4th, No one wore the “true†All Star XX3s besides T.O.?????
5th, All in all, the XX3s r one of the dopest numbered Jordan! No doubt in my top 5, possibly even top 3.

Man, I wish I was able to be handed a pair of LIMITED J’s like Ray Allen to actually play in! Im not a fan of red/white/blue kicks no matter what kind they are so RIP and Joe are S.O.L. in my book. By far those XX3s worn by CP and Melo are the BEST looking pair besides the bred and white/red shown in the dvd!!! Cant wait to go pick up my pre-ordered pair of XX3s on the 23rd!!!

I love the West PEs a ton. Not fully sold on the East PEs though. I honestly like the Titaniums and “All Stars” more than the East PEs.
