Kanye West Answers About “Mystery Nike’s”
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Feb 29, 2008| In a recent interview with NY Times’ The Moment, Kanye West answers a few questions about his take on fashion as well as about his “get up” he wore to the Grammy’s.
When asked about what he wore, Kanye mentioned his kicks: Not out YET? Thank you Kanye for letting us know the good news that these weren’t some special 1 of 1’s. From the photos that we have (many after the jump), you can see that the shoes clearly have a lasered swoosh, Air Flight Revolution outsole, and tongue and ankle shaped similar to the Air Force V. These will be a pair to keep on the radar. Hopefully these won’t join the ranks of the McFly’s and never be seen again. I can’t wait till they drop. Its a mix of a pair of j’s and some ato’s. That strap is ato all day and da sole is from the j’s wit da concrete print round da front. Dem retro joints. I even see a lil’ bapesta roadsta in da toe part. Ye is a genius yo. No other rapper have ppl debating and waiting fa him to drop a sneaka yo LOL. Do ya thing brobro!

Am Informed from a real good source that they are designed by kanye himself. there was a video wich showed him designing them before the gramz. and he told NIKE to makem ready 4 the gramz. its True No rumor!!!!!….. n sum sed That the swoosh is Photoshoped But its sum Kinda Poliester a guess!!!

THose are a new Jordan combo. U can clearly see the retro 3 bottoms, the 21 uppers, the 5 tongue, and the 10 design on the front of the shoe. The only thing that doesnt make sense is the strap and the swoosh. They are hot as hell tho!

The bottom sole at the rear resembles the retro 3 and the tongue resembles the retro 5 along with the ankle support. The toe front resembles supra skytop and the strap in the middle looks like similar to “creative recreation” sneaker.
Overall they look ok.
