Lupe Fiasco x Converse Chuck Taylors Product (RED)
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Mar 26, 2008| Before life got super crazy for a “cool young Lu”, Lupe Fiasco inked an interesting deal with Reebok though he was quoted many times (including the launch of the Reebok shoe) that his favorite kicks were the John Lennon “Imagine” Converse Chuck Taylors. Though at the time on team RBK, Lupe wore Chuck Taylors on the cover of his debut album “Food and Liquor”.
Earlier this month, Lupe Fiasco provided entertainment at the release party of the Dr. Romanelli’s x Converse Product (RED) creation wearing a pair of Chucks that generated some quick internet buzz on Supertouch. Complex was able to score a pair of the Lupe Fiasco x Converse Product (red) Chuck Taylors that currently are not slated for public release. If you think that these need to get released, leave a comment so that Converse can see the demand for these kicks. |

These chucks are dope as ever. I saw them on yahoo ,when i was looking for pictures of red chucks to create a tattoo. I saw these, and feel in love with them right away. Converse you need to release these for fall or spring. I personally believe for those who loves chucks you will recieve lots of money for these shoes. I will personally pay about $300 if that was the price but given chucks run at least $35-$40 a pair depending on the shoe.RELEASE!!!!! As beautiful as these are, I’d say let Lupe have his OWN. We can’t have everything, and that’s just being honest. I’d love a pair, but that would instanly turn into hype. I mean, we’ve see how NIKE makes a lot of hype and with them (NIKE) owning converse and all… smh. Imagine.
