Nike Vintage Vandal High
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Mar 27, 2008 Nike’s Vintage sneaker campaign continues this year with another great from the mid 80s with the Nike Vandal High. This shoe first hit the scene in 1984 and was produced until 1987. The shoe was only found on the feet of OG sneakerheads and laying deadstock in old stockrooms until the shoes came back in 2003 in original colors as the Vandal Supreme.
Though the shoe is not for everyone, it is a gem to those who appreciate its legacy. The Vandal was a staple basketball shoe seen on the court two decades ago and often times worn by entire teams. This pair of Vandals has the classic nylon tongue and canvas upper. To give it some age, the soles have been slightly scuffed and some minor “roughing up” to the upper. Look for these to start releasing this summer. Pics thanks to Streething. |

I pay good money for shoes, and I don’t wanna pay good money for damaged shoes. Even if they were intended to come damaged, it’s stupid.
