Staple Design x New Balance 575 “Pigeon”
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Mar 20, 2008| A few days ago, CAD images of what looked to be a New Balance x Staple Design collab started floating around the net hitting sites like glltn and High Snobiety to name a few. The artwork depicted the New Balance 575 complete with pigeon colors, pigeon logo on the heel, and pigeon Our inside sources did let us know the unfortunate news that this project was supposedly not going forward at this point in time. That being said, let’s either hope for a change of heart or they were just trying to squash the rumor. |

some of you guys are trippin saying new balance is wack. it’s your own opinion but i bet you haven’t even rocked a pair of new balances in your life. you probably are a nike only guy only because your ass is stuck with a mindset that makes you think Nike is the staple for shoe heads.
i’d admit, new balance doesn’t have the best looking shoe line, but damn their shoes are comfortable and these 575’s are sick.

The color way may be the same but Nike doesnt hold a candle to NB in terms of creativity. Dunks in any color - you look like everyone else. These kicks are fresh.

These are pretty wack,, plus the fact nike already has a pigeon Dunk,, New Balance is wack and always has been pretty much they last time they were cool is when Saconys Were in

If the collab doesn’t go through, strip the logos and you still have one hell of a nice pair of 575’s. The 575 is made in england so we don’t get to see many Stateside thanks in large part to the weak ass US dollar, but there are several 575’s to look out for this year.

never really liked new balance but this colorway is too dope too pass up on…finally i found a shoe i like thats not nike or jordan
