New Balance 576 Elements Package
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Apr 4, 2008 Last fall New Balance treated us to a Super Team 33 Elements Package that was executed on the 1400, but this month New Balance is continuing with the package on the 576. The inspiration of the package was the basis of the universe according to Chinese Taoism: the elements. Three of the five elements in this age-old theory are represented in a collection of limited-edition New Balance 576’s – Earth, Wood and Water.
This month begins the campaign with the release of the “Earth” 576. This pair features brown contrast stitching, a medial pattern reminiscent of layers of sediment and materials used to convey soil. May will see the release of the “Wood” 576 which was features a black and green design to signify tree bark and leaves, medial embroidery of trees and a unique “peel leather†to convey bark. Lastly, the “Water” 576 will drop in June with a blue/white colorway, transparent rubber outsole and a recurring pattern of water bubbles. Each shoe has a distinctive Chinese touch: the medial side of every Elements 576 shoe features the Chinese character that represents the shoe’s respective element. These are weak and thats from a devoted NB only sneakerhead. These are just takedowns of the st33 elements pack but with less detail and no quality materials.
