Air Jordan 7 Miró “Olympic Collection”
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jun 30, 2008 A few photos have surfaced of the Air Jordan 7 Miró, but little has been known about the shoes. True, this special edition of the Air Jordan 7 is inspired by the colors and the international spirit of the Olympic Games, but the story extends much further beyond just that.
The shoes were inspired by the Spanish painter and sculptor Joan Miró who died only months before Michael Jordan and Team USA won Gold in the ‘84 Games. The Jordan 7 was on the feet of Michael Jordan when the Dream Team took Gold in Miró’s hometown of Barcelona, Spain. The Air Jordan 7 Miró will release July 3rd at the new Opium store in Barcelona. The shoe will be the focal point of an exclusive event in store starting at 7:30PM for a selected group of invitees. Please take a look at all of the photos provided to us by Opium Barcelona of the shoes, its special packaging, and paired next to one of Miró’s most famous sculptures in Barcelona, Woman and Bird. |

great shoes, like them because of the style and color of the shoe. I just love jordan shoes but especially this one. One day I’m going to be a shoe designer for jordan or nike. I’ve already drawn out how they would look.

are these supposed to be “artistic” or some ish. cmon, good thing they are releasing abroad, although its sad because if they did release in the us you know mad people would be up on these. its like people can’t just simply pass on j’s because they are trained now to cop retro regardless of how they honestly feel about them since they can always be turned into a profit however marginal it may be, you know they will almost never decrease in value. but on the real i dont know anyone who saw these and said they were hot, period, nobody.

Well, truth be told, I’m far from a “hypebeast.” People like yourself, love to throw that term around on people, when you don’t have any ideas of their likes, etc.
I explained the relevance in FULL and my take on the relationship of the two (Miro & Jordan) and not a “relationship” as far as the two actually meeting. bxmiafury (comment 109.), hit it right on the head with his post, he just worded it better than myself.
And as you said: “Being a collector means buying the shoes that have meaning to you, the ones you like. Not buying shoes you don’t like (or understand) because they are rare and look good showing off to other people.“ — I never said “This shoe is trash, but I’ll cop anyway, because of the painted design and it’s a Miro related shoe.” That would be more so along the lines of what you’re saying (hypebeast wise). (a word that’s as played out as “Hater”)
I actually LIKE the shoe, regardless of the whole “Miro” thing (which no one even KNEW it was an artist’s creations that spawned it when it first surfaced on NK BAM - and I like it then), but the VII period and it’s relation to the Olympics = MEANING. That’s what I’m trying to get across to you, yet, I have to be what YOU want me to be, because you don’t like the shoe. That’s very typical now-a-days in the sneker world.
Jul 2, 2008 at 1:15 pm
DAMN this has the most comments I’ve seen on any thread thus far as I can remember….Obviously alot of hating but most people seem to have forgotten (in just a few seconds) that the shoes is FOR A GOOD CAUSE and INSPIRED….OBVIOUSLY they prolly wont be releasing in North America because North Americans arent getting the message….The shoes are INSPIRED!!!!!
Even though they arent your most sought after colour way nor are they everybody’s favourite shoe but (IT IS THE SHOE HE WORE IN THE OLYMPICS) it has meaning and even though it may not have meaning to you individually somewhere, somebody in Barcelona is reminded of somebody who was great and special to them, HENCE THE WORD INSPIRED….
I admit I was horrified by the sight of the shoe UNTIL I found out the reason behind it and now I can see its purpose and thats enuff for me!….
HATERS WILL ALWAYS HATE!…stop being a hypebeast and try being a REAL collector!
Jul 2, 2008 at 10:46 am
@bxmiafury: That’s what I meant(see post 60), my bad on the miss-type.
@Darneezy: Yes I called you a hypebeast, because you were creating hype for a shoe that you didn’t fully understand. Hence the definition of a HYPEbeast, people who create hype for shoes(whether it be by lining up, or just blindly hyping a shoe they wouldn’t typically like if not for certain “tags”). You tried to defend the shoes by saying “If you were a true collector you would buy these”, but that’s not what being a collector is about. Being a collector means buying the shoes that have meaning to you, the ones you like. Not buying shoes you don’t like(or understand) because they are rare and look good showing off to other people. If you can understand that then you should be able to understand where I was coming from.

y would they make suck an ugly pair of jordans
Jul 1, 2008 at 9:28 pm
LOL @ dude calling me a “hypebeast” all because I like the idea of this shoe… NOT because I’m trying to fly to Barcelona, stand in line at Opium and get them (which I’m not), but the fact that I dig the concept of the shoe.
Yeah right homie!
LMAO
Jul 1, 2008 at 8:38 pm
are they releasing in the us
Jul 1, 2008 at 4:20 pm
I here a lot of hatin put I see a lot of people walkin out the mall with these
Jul 1, 2008 at 2:30 pm
@bxmiafury: Jordan has won two gold medals. One in ‘89 as a college player, and one in ‘92 as part of the Dream Team. It looks like I worded it wrong, I should have said; Jordan won his second gold medal in 1992, this time with the Dream Team. And I didn’t know that tidbit about the Dream Team, thanks for the info.
And you’re more than welcome for the positive response. People need to take responsibilities for the things they say, and realize if they are mistaken.
Jul 1, 2008 at 2:14 pm
enough is enough..shoes are ugly as hell
Jul 1, 2008 at 2:13 pm
anyone else feel like these are dissected citrus 7’s?
In my opinion this air jordan does not provide the right silhouette or canvas for this type of artwork. Honestly these would’ve been better released in 04 when there was so much interest in customized kicks. Let’s be forreal This is the citrus VII retooled, It looks like someone got bored with the citrus’ and repainted them. The Icy Sole is hot though i cant even lie. But the rest of the im getting bad vibes from, the colors on the shoe don’t mesh at all.
Jul 1, 2008 at 2:12 pm
“And if I may I would like to say this, I don’t think the shoes are made in honor of Joan Miró. The way I see it, the shoes were made in celebration of the Barcelona Olympics, where Jordan won his first gold medal as a member of the NBA’s Dream Team. And in order to commemorate, the shoes have taken inspiration from one of Barcelona’s greatest painters, Joan Miró.”
That actually makes sense. I still think the shoe came out ugly, but at least now I can see a real connection.
Jul 1, 2008 at 2:04 pm
@Dj75728: I can agree to post 111.
Jul 1, 2008 at 2:00 pm
@Dj75728: I appreciate your positive response. I hate reading most of the comments on this website because of the ignorance of most people. We live in America because of freedom of speech, but sometimes reading these comments makes me embarrassed to be part of the sneaker community. Anyways, in your post #60, you said he won his second gold medal with the Dream Team. I strongly believe that in 1992 that was the first year that the dream team was created and that’s when they won their first gold medal by going undefeated.
FYI: To everyone else, a little history lesson about the Dream Team. I think in the 1992 Olympic games this was the first time that members from the NBA were allowed to play, hence the name “Dream Team”. Anyone correct me if I’m wrong.
Jul 1, 2008 at 1:39 pm

Jul 1, 2008 at 10:53 am
i can agree Dj75728
Jul 1, 2008 at 10:32 am
@bxmiafury: I suppose now that you’ve put it in the way that “these shoes are in celebration of the Olympics, and Barcelona, where Jordan won the Gold with the Dream Team” now it makes sense. I’m a man and can admit when I’m wrong. I believe all of this could have been avoided if the fact’s in the initial post had been correct.
And if I may I would like to say this, I don’t think the shoes are made in honor of Joan Miró. The way I see it, the shoes were made in celebration of the Barcelona Olympics, where Jordan won his first gold medal as a member of the NBA’s Dream Team. And in order to commemorate, the shoes have taken inspiration from one of Barcelona’s greatest painters, Joan Miró.
Can we all agree on that?
Jul 1, 2008 at 9:36 am
not a must have but i would buy them
Jul 1, 2008 at 9:34 am
Time to chime in. How do any of you know what kind of relationship Miro had with MJ? Did any of you ask them? JB took someones art and put it on a sneaker. I was in Barcelona for the 1992 Olympics and the art that you see on this shoe is the art they had all over the city. Barcelona was crazy about the Dream Team. If any of you kids like a painting, take that painting and put it on a shoe and see how good you think it looks. They didn’t make this shoe for Jordan head wannabees on this website, they made it for the people of Barcelona who enjoy Miro’s artwork and like MJ. When will you guys realize that your opinion does not count, they are going to keep making whatever they want, you have the option to buy it or not. Nice Kicks, I appreciate your website.
Jul 1, 2008 at 9:21 am
@Darneezy: The thing is……none of the shoes you named are made exclusively for one person. Jordan shoes are for remembrance and tribute to….Michael Jordan. It’s crap like these that are turning Jordan’s into the next dunks. Joan Miró has nothing to do with Michael Jordan, nothing to do with the shoes, and nothing to do with you or anyone else. The shoes are a failure. With your logic, we might as well take an artist from every city that Jordan ever happened to win a championship in, and dedicate a shoe to them too. F*** it! Let’s just make a shoe for someone in every city Jordan has ever balled in, make them exclusives, and retire at 20! The coincidence that Jordan happened to win the Gold in Barcelona YEARS after Joan Miró died is completely irrelevant and has nothing to do with anything. It’s a marketing scam, nothing more. It’s hypebeasts like you, who jump on every shoe with an “exclusive” tag, that keep JB producing this filth. No matter how much you respect Joan Miró(an artist you probably never heard of), you obviously have no respect for Jordan, his shoes, or his legacy.
If anyone truly likes the shoe, then fine. Just don’t try to justify it’s conception with false claims.
Jul 1, 2008 at 9:13 am
They look kinda hard, but it look like corner store quality.
Jul 1, 2008 at 9:02 am
wow, the Olympics is really spawning some terrible looking kicks from JB. They gotta do better
Jul 1, 2008 at 8:57 am
“Me being me, I’d probably rock these once or twice, to some type of event (if ever, but I won’t be able to get them anyway) and put them in a display case.”
Can understand that, because I have a couple shoes on my list that if I ever get will only be worn like, once a year, kept in a case otherwise, and wont be worn at all after they start to get older.
“But at the same time, there aren’t any connections to ANYONE who most shoes, AM90/95/96, Nike Dunk/Dunk SB, Air Force 1, Adidas, etc. are connected with, so I don’t see a big deal in the designing of a shoe, a Jordan Brand shoe, having some sort of “theme.—
Right. Thats why it doesn’t really matter what shoe you put this design on. The only reason to pick a shoe is to make it look good. It probably would have looked better on a simpler design. Jordan 1s might have worked, i think 2s would have worked now that I think about it more, I could almost see it on 13s but then it would really resemble a fake, 15s wouldnt be a bad canvas for this idea at all if more people liked the 15.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with jordan doing a themed shoe, but I just think a different shoe would have made a better canvas.
Jul 1, 2008 at 8:19 am
OMFG I THESE ARE FIRE. What happened to the August 16 release date though? Will these be worldwide release. Im not in to J’s But i must admit. Im feelin these big time. I deff copped the Olympic 6’s Too. Loving Them. Holla Back NK

Icey bottoms on a fugly colorway? I just don’t get it!
Jul 1, 2008 at 12:20 am
MICHAEL JORDAN SHOULD SLAP THE PISS OUT OF THE DESINGNER OF THESE SHOES AND SHOULD HIRE SOMEONE TO BEAT HIS A@@ FOR LETTIN THESE EVEN BE THOUGHT OF.
Jun 30, 2008 at 11:46 pm
can you imagagine how much these are gonna cost on flight club?? lol
Jun 30, 2008 at 11:27 pm
I think aside from the fact that there’s a lot going on with these (most would say) it’s also the fact that Jordan’s have been faked so much, people these as just a fake, that’s actually made by Jordan Brand.
I can’t even explain how much I love this shoe though, it’s just something about it. Maybe it’s the icy soles? The laces? Country Flags? Olympic striped finger loop? I can’t pin point it, but the shoe is nice.
Oh yeah and maybe I need to add that I have lots of DS kicks (aside from work and my nite spots), since I just have so many and can’t wear them all at the same time; along with the fact that most of the kiddies, want to wear them as soon as they drop and I keep most on ice for a while as is.
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:55 pm
^im the other 1 of the 2 dude^
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:54 pm
idk….not too bad. i like the laces. its kind of a nice concept. i also like the finger loop and bottom. they might grow on us. of corse not as good as the ogs…but the 6s where. i wish ppl would stop fukin hating on tha jb brand. giv them thir props…..
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:37 pm
But at the same time, there aren’t any connections to ANYONE who most shoes, AM90/95/96, Nike Dunk/Dunk SB, Air Force 1, Adidas, etc. are connected with, so I don’t see a big deal in the designing of a shoe, a Jordan Brand shoe, having some sort of “theme.”
I mean, I’m a “Jordan Purist” to the death, if you want to call myself that LOL, and I love my OG’s, and my Retro’s (for the most part) but I just love this shoe. Espcially vs. the Olympic 6.
No “hype,” none of that… I really dig the work in the design and the colors, as well as the reason they’re on them, so I’m probably 2 out of 10 of those who actually like them.
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:32 pm
BKost… I don’t resell, just speaking on those who do.
When I say the “worth/value” on these in a few years, I don’t mean with my intentions to resell, but the worth/value in them for you, still being DS after a few years or whenever you decide to bring them out.
My DTRT III’s are still DS, along with my Flip III’s and plenty other kicks, but not due to the fact I want to resell them, I don’t have time to wear many of my shoes (work & where I go out to) so they sit in the boxes, unless I hit up the mall or something casual.
I mean, true, you’d most likely want to break these out over time, but at the same time, you’d like to have these for a “collecting” purpose, like those who have autographed Upper Deck jerseys and shoes… I guess that’s a little different, but kind of the same.
Me being me, I’d probably rock these once or twice, to some type of event (if ever, but I won’t be able to get them anyway) and put them in a display case.
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:29 pm
Oh and about the connection… Look, jordan and miro really have no connection at all. Jordan and Miro never met, to my knowledge anyway, and jordan brand just decided to do a shoe in honor of miro. Okay, so they pick the shoe that the man their brand is based around wore when he went to the hometown of the man the shoe is in homage too.
I understand that. But really, jordan has no connection to miro. This colorway is a homage to a person completley unrelated to the jordan brand and the jordan 7. They could have done this colorway on any model they wanted and it would have had the same signifigance. Jordan wearing the 7s to miro’s hometown is just an artificial connection in my opinion.
I think this concept should have been attempted by nike instead and put on a shoe like the air force 1. Or MAYBE (probably not) the jordan 1. A simpler shoe that would make a better canvas for this colorway.
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:26 pm
i see they switched the pattern to the opposite sides that they had on the first pics, wich to me makes a difference.
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:21 pm
these is ugly and nice at the same time,i will say they look alot better in these pics than they did in them last ones.
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:18 pm
Hey Darneezy, a couple things I wanna say.
You say something about resale value? I thought you collect for the love of sneakers, not because of their market value?
Not to be worn? Look, if you really like a shoe, your gonna wear it. That doesnt mean you cant keep it forever- just take care of them when you wear them. If you only wear them occasionally and clean them after every wear they can look just as good as when you bought them. The only downside is they wont resell for as much…..
Other than that yeah, its a good concept. But like I said crazy colorways dont look good on designs like that. For asthetic reasons, the shoe would have looked better on a simpler design.
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:16 pm
jordan miro…. jordan hellno. i will let collectors collect. i believe in wearing the j’s i buy. with the game the way it is now, you can wear your j’s and still get good money for them.
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:09 pm
Oh yeah and not to forget the shoe itself is a pretty nice shoe. That Clear sole is bananas!
Dj75728 - you are CLEARLY missing the point on how the shoe is tied to Miro.
The exact same shoe, that Jordan won his Gold medal with the Dream Team (the BEST EVER assembled Olympic Team) was won IN Barcelona, where Miró is from. If that doesn’t help you understand “why” the shoes and him are “related” to one another, your comprehension is terrible.
What the hell does an SB Dunk have to do with all the people and themes they come up with? De La Sole’s, Heineken’s, Unkle’s, Dino’s, Morks, FLOM’s etc., etc.??? NOTHING! But people break their necks to get them, camp out and whatever else… but you have to have a complete reason as to what the relation for these are?
Bogus!
Jun 30, 2008 at 9:57 pm
THESE, I like much better than the Olympic 6’s that just released, “WHY?,” you might ask?
Because they have MUCH more “meaning” to them, than the Olympic 6 did… which was just a patent shoe, with 5 colors of the Olympic rings.
This pair of shoes is NOT, as I’ve stated when NiceKicks first posted about these, ARE NOT TO BE WORN, to show “I got the newest J’s” but to pay tribute to an artist and celebrate his artwork, along with MJ’s accomplishments IN the particular shoe.
THESE ARE A COLLECTOR’S ITEM, more so than the 6’s were…
But many of you have that backwards, trying to cop those for resell, then basically saying these are crap and not buying them (speaking to the resell sharks).
As for people who call themselves “collectors” - to pass these up, is ridiculous. Imagine the worth on these in 5-10 years. If I were lucky enough to get a pair, I definitely would.
Jun 30, 2008 at 9:51 pm
Yeah, the concept is better than I originally thought… But that shoe is just disgusting. That concept shouldnt have been attempted on jordans anyway, that kinda of crazy stuff is better attempted on a shoe with a simpler design.
Jun 30, 2008 at 9:41 pm
de’ stijl sb’s were executed 100x better than these
piet>>>>>>>>>>>
Jun 30, 2008 at 9:34 pm

Jun 30, 2008 at 9:12 pm
that shoe iz straight ill yall haters
Jun 30, 2008 at 8:36 pm
“I would strongly recommend googling “Miró†and learn what his art is all about before jumping to major conclusions about the Jordan 7 Miró” matt stfu these shoes are friggin ugly, lmao im jk, but yea i wud only get these for collecting purposes, they look better now but i wud never ever wear them
Jun 30, 2008 at 8:33 pm
I hear everyone saying haw ugly they are but who ever said they were meant to be worn? jordan Brand is breaking ground with comps like this. I will wait on line and cop 2 pair if they come into the states. And knowing Jordan Brand they will come out with T-shirts and other stuff to go with it as well
Jun 30, 2008 at 8:00 pm
i honestly dont care how amazing the artist was, if they made Da Vinci VIIs and they were as ugly as this, i still would not cop. hideous.
Jun 30, 2008 at 7:37 pm

I like the idea and all but I’m not feeling the black part. If it was another color I would of liked them. And the 6s were alright I didn’t like the leather much but oh well
Jun 30, 2008 at 4:02 pm
i wpuldnt wear em.
Jun 30, 2008 at 3:53 pm
Nice concept but not to wear it up!!!! too funky for me….and already coop the 7/16 pack soooooo see you later!!!! it would look better if only the sole was made like this and the all shoes white/black/red and gold ufffffffffffff!!!!!
Jun 30, 2008 at 3:47 pm
i personally am not so much a fan, yes, the shoes are for a good cause for an artist whose work represented some of this. BUT, on the flip side, they could have made the shoe look more realistic..these remind me of something you can just buy at any flea market, i think it might be the black mid that does it for me..oh well
i still may cop just to say i had them
Jun 30, 2008 at 3:35 pm
Goodbye Jordan Brand……….
Jun 30, 2008 at 3:31 pm
do these only release in spain?
Jun 30, 2008 at 3:17 pm
wat are u doing!
Jun 30, 2008 at 2:37 pm
sucks for me and them cuz i was gonna cop
Jun 30, 2008 at 2:26 pm
*Edit* ‘84 Summer Olympics were in Los Angeles. Jordan won the gold as a College Participant. Barcelona hosted Olympic games in 1992 where Jordan won his Second Olympic gold medal with the Dream Team. Makes the shoes even less relevant.
Jun 30, 2008 at 2:15 pm
Isn’t there an a OC retro 7 releasing in August???
Jun 30, 2008 at 2:14 pm
WHYYYYY! JB WHYYYYYYY?
Jun 30, 2008 at 2:10 pm
Look Matt, my point is what does the death of Joan Miró have to do with Jordan? The points for the shoe are irrelevant. Father’s day 1’s, OK. Army/Military 1’s, OK. Those had significance, even if I didn’t like them I knew the reason for their conception, and what they had to do with Michael Jordan. Joan Miró has nothing to do with Jordan. The way I see it, they dug up something completely irrelevant, and are capitalizing off of it. Yes he was an artist, yes he died a couple of months before the Olympic games that were being hosted in his homeland. But what does any of that really have to do with Jordan? Did he even know who the man was? At least these are only releasing in Spain to give the shoe some validity.
P.S. I hated the Oly 6’s, and I refused to buy them. I’m not hypocritical like so many JB fans.
Jun 30, 2008 at 2:09 pm
wow. these aren’t that bad, i actually like them and would buy them to admire them. icey sole is a fantastic touch. not a classic jordan look, but its a work of art. get at my email if anyone has em for sale size 9.5 -11 i would love to buy these
Jun 30, 2008 at 2:05 pm
look like some fakes. glad i still have a couple pairs of the original olympic 7s on ice
Jun 30, 2008 at 2:05 pm
i think they look amazing, and Matt i took your advice and googled him he has great work
Jun 30, 2008 at 1:48 pm
if i never herd bout these nor saw em i would of definitely thought these were da ugliest fake pair of jordans eva made. Since dey legit dey still ugly.
Jun 30, 2008 at 1:44 pm
the second time around they don’t look so bad. now that i understand the concept. there are things about it that i like. like the gum bottoms, and things i don’t like, like the laces. i just think they could have done a little less
Jun 30, 2008 at 1:43 pm
Hey Matt people in the U.S. arent going to be able to get these. I don’t care what anyone else says i really like this shoe. If it does release in the U.S. I will be on of the first ones to pick it up.
Jun 30, 2008 at 1:37 pm
I’d take them over the recently Oly’s VI any day but I’ll change the laces!!!!
Jun 30, 2008 at 1:37 pm
^ I know what you’re talking about matt. as an art and architecture student i like the concept of the shoe and all but people need to undersand that some shoes are made for everyday wear as well as collectibles and the jordan brand has lately gone towards the path of stricly collection purposes
Jun 30, 2008 at 1:34 pm
the shoe is ugly….
regardless of what it represents…
Im sure the story behind them is good,
but its a terrible looking shoe…
Jun 30, 2008 at 1:29 pm
I remember all the hatred towards the Jordan Olympic 6 and then remember what happened on release date? I have had the fortunate ability to spend time with these and I can say that there is a lot of beauty in these shoes if you know what to look for.
I would strongly recommend googling “Miró” and learn what his art is all about before jumping to major conclusions about the Jordan 7 Miró
Jun 30, 2008 at 1:28 pm
I actually kind of like because of the laces, but other than that it just looks like you’re wearing something that belongs in an art museum
Jun 30, 2008 at 1:27 pm
man uh dont kno what to say i felt a little throw up come up my throat but i’ll put it like this … how about the jb countdown packs for october november and december
Jun 30, 2008 at 1:25 pm
aight
Jun 30, 2008 at 1:18 pm
Who in the F*%@ is runnin the show over at JB now days? Damn homos..same sex marriges is ok wit me..But when you go “KILLING” the classics this is where we should draw the line!Man Im an artist and this is BEAT… KEEP ART ON THE CANVAS AND THE HEAT ON YOUR FEET!
Jun 30, 2008 at 1:13 pm
display only. 4.2 out of 5
Jun 30, 2008 at 12:49 pm
art is subjective…if this is for charity, I would think you would want to design a shoe that would not only sell but give the buyer the sense that they purchased a worthwhile product. I don’t believe this was achieved, again, subjective.
Jun 30, 2008 at 12:29 pm
i only like the bottoms…the rest is soo fugly
Jun 30, 2008 at 12:29 pm
1st the 6, now the 7’s. 2 classic jays killed. thank goodness 4 da packs
Jun 30, 2008 at 12:19 pm
wackest shoe ever created
Jun 30, 2008 at 12:18 pm
The year was 92, Barcelona’92. 84???? floridaboi850… 94????
And, yes, these kicks just suck. Miró successors might denounce JB.
Jun 30, 2008 at 12:16 pm
there wack. but jordan brand should take care of the us first instead of all this international bs
Jun 30, 2008 at 12:14 pm
THAT SHOE IS TOOO DAMN UGLY..GOOD CAUSE OR NOT THEY SHOULD LOOK BETTER MAYBE SOME MORE PEOPLE WOULD WANT TO HELP….. BUT WHATEVER … GOOD TASTE DOES NOT ALWAYS COME EZ TO SOME PEOPLE..LIKE THE IDIOT WHO DESIGNED THIS CRAP!!!
Jun 30, 2008 at 12:13 pm
EwWwWwWwW That is disgusting.
Jun 30, 2008 at 11:52 am
wether there ugly or not what ae the chances of anyone gettin them in the us of a
Jun 30, 2008 at 11:50 am
I just threw up. They look like a three year old grabbed a pair of 7s and drew on them.
The concept is also stupid. In what way is MJ related to a Spanish artist.
Jun 30, 2008 at 11:49 am
the bottom is so fresh!!!…..but the rest of tha shoe is pretty ugly
Jun 30, 2008 at 11:46 am
thies are going to be worth some serious cash!
Jun 30, 2008 at 11:42 am
Well, I’m gonna buy them because I can.
Jun 30, 2008 at 11:34 am

Jun 30, 2008 at 11:32 am

Jun 30, 2008 at 11:28 am
them shoes is right
Jun 30, 2008 at 11:24 am
nasty
Jun 30, 2008 at 11:18 am
Just a diff opinion. I thought the oly 6’s looked like something no respecting individual over the age of 12 should consider putting on their feet. Very childish with that shiny patent leather and eccentric coloring along with that terrible logo on the toebox.
Somehow, someway(I cant explain it really) I like this shoe alot better than those. That might not be saying much, but as somone who collects and displays shoes these 7’s have something about them that I really enjoy visualy.
These are way out in left field as far as JB releases go, but for $175 they are going to be a limited and high quality release.
I would much rather wear these for anything, ballin, casual than the oly 6’s.
I hope everyone stays cold on this, but I imagine that some old school guys will warm up to something from JB that is a little more sophisticated than anything they have put out in years save the XX3. and the kiddies who love the fake 7’s might also catch hype on em, but I dont think there flash enough for them. They almost have a real subtle feel to them.
Jun 30, 2008 at 11:06 am
I wish the VI’s looked like this instead - I’d at least feel comfortable wearing these.
Jun 30, 2008 at 11:04 am
those are horrible. and the year was 94′ not 84′
Jun 30, 2008 at 11:01 am
Yikes!
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:52 am
wow. these r just horribble. It almost looks like you could find these on the corner for $40
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:50 am
These are iight but they look fake to me…
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:48 am
i like the laces concept but that shoe looks ugly
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:38 am
wow wtf r those ight the Olympic 6 were better but i dont think anyone going to cop this ..i wouldn’t
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:24 am
WHY WHY WHY??? - Its makes me wonder if JB was not in fact behind the market dumps of (NIKE) “Factory” Variants! These shoes should never scene the light of day! For the cause of charity - drop them in a solid colorway - then a design that looks like machine threw up!
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:22 am
THOSE LACES ARE TIGHT
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:21 am
wow. those are actually not as bad as I thought. still pretty far out for a sneaker but 100x better than those hideous VI’s
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:16 am
Garbage. Love the concept but these could have been a lot more tastefully.
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:15 am
Olympics have been ruined. First the Crayola 6’s, now this? I guess if you really need some Jordan Brand laces to match your Crayolympic 6’s then it’s a good deal.
Worse than fakes, let the hypebeasts rejoice.
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:14 am
Looks like these will only be over in Spain, no major release.
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:14 am
these are actully not that bad
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:05 am
SUS
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:05 am
I love these I know alot of jordan heads don’t but they are sikk I got the olympic 6’s and they were sold out in hour’s these will be gone in minut’s it’s not hype they are just dope and that’s it…..
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:02 am
the AJ VII has been butchered all i want is the laces
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:02 am
Whoever designed those should be fired. They look like fakes. Looks like a bad pair of customs. Great idea but an ugly shoe.
Jun 30, 2008 at 10:00 am
i just puked on my computer ugly as hell!!!!!
Jun 30, 2008 at 9:57 am
yo it brings different shoe laces. thats tight but the shoe would be for display only
Jun 30, 2008 at 9:55 am
Fugly, Air Jordan 7 Miro be thy name.
I hope this idea looked alot better on paper.
Jun 30, 2008 at 9:48 am
i like the concept, and its for a good cause. But i think the shoe is ugly!!
Jun 30, 2008 at 9:45 am
HELLO !!!
