Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jun 11, 2008 Last fall Jordan Brand launched an anti-fake campaign with T-shirts that read “Say No To Fakes” and “Fakes are so Bootleg”, but the campaign didn’t stop the invisible, Sponge-Bob, Fusions from being worn by dudes who thought they were the greatest to walk the halls of the mall.
DRUGS Couture has taken another approach to the issue hitting fellas where it really hurts. Insulting one’s shoe game only damages one who has sneaker integrity, but insulting one’s manhood is sure to make a harder blow (no pun). Ladies, we’re calling on you to help get these guys straight with their sneaker game and you can do so by joining the campaign. The shirts come in 4 colors and are priced at $30. okay i have authentic kicks…but is it wrong to buy kicks that look exactly the same as the real…
cuz im thinkin about gettin some spizikes that im sure aren’t real but u couldn’t tell especially because of the fact that its the same colorway as the real ones…

last time seen some guy at the mall wearing not one but two fake shoes at the same time. he had some light blue fusions 12 on the left foot and some red fusions 12 on the right foot and he was telling the people he was with, “oh yeah i had to wear this shirt cuz it match these shoe.” thinking now that guy could probably have had a fake shirt too.

I think it’s a dope concept, and the shirt would work well on the right chick. But it would only be marginally effective. Why? Because most of the time, dudes that rock fakes don’t even know that they’re wearing them. Some cats will argue all day that their Jamaican IV’s or Cement Print VII’s are the real deal. They’d see these shirts and laugh, not even realizing that they the butt of the joke. Awareness is key. And yes, the models are BAD!
