Nike Air Yeezy Tinker Hatfield Edition
Posted by vulkan | Jun 23, 2008 The much anticipated Nike Air Yeezy has a new special make up color way making the rounds on the forums. Mark Smith has customized a pair of Yeezy’s for the man himself Tinker Hatfield which he also designed with Kanye West. The pair is mostly gray with a orange brim on the top of the upper, and Carolina blue strap. The most intriging part of the shoe is the symbols on the strap that tell the story of Tinkers career.

Listen, these are so hot that I will buy the knockoffs until Nike releases the O.G. And then they are suppose to drop in Feb? With all that snow!? Im going to buy $300 worth until they drop, hopefully they will have a new color by then.PEACE!

Anyway…I don’t dislike the shoe—just getting tired of the obvious play to build ‘hype’…okay it was cool at first and stirred up the expected about of excitement—now it’s time for Nike to either come with the product or *yawn*

Not feelin the air yeezys,not feelin Kanye West either,he’s just not hard enough for these cold streets.I know if I like a shoe the instint I see it and I never felt this shoe.Some shoes grow on you over time, but not this one.

Great point. The only difference though, imo, was the MJ played every night up until the release wearing the shoes and Kanye’s tour won’t be running until next Feb (when i heard the shoes were releasing).
Supposedly the original plan was for Kanye to wear these shoes and for everyone to ask about them but not for him to give everyone an up close and personal look at them. Somewhat of a parallel to MJ and the XIs now that I look at it.

Hands down my favorite colorway, but if Nike doesn’t plan on releasing these this year you can expect the hype to be extinct by the time they actually release.

personally, i am kinda tired of hearing about this shoe myself. it is being hyped too much for a shoe that aint really got much going on. looks like a souped up court force to me. lol. and its almost like, if you see someone with these on and they are not a celeb you kinda are thinking fakes. why are these so “hot” because of the name “yeezy”, its not even english. what is it, kanye west’s personal nike “kanyeezy”? or is it lil “weezy”, whats the deal with the name. i wouldn’t wear a kanye west nike. i don’t get it.

the best colorways are the black/red/glow inthe dark joints, the all grey’s and the khaki joints. hands down. he had the khakis on here in Houston for the concert and i was like “wow”. but yeah, when and IF they drop, i’m coppin.

one of the best shoes ive seen this year. it has the electric color accents up top, that baby blue for summer stuntin’ and the all white you can never go wrong. i wish those tinker p-rods that came out earlier were splashed with these colors. fresh.

everyone always hates on the yeezy’s..personally I think they’re a great shoe, just if it was put to better colorways it would be more enjoyable/appealing to the eyes..
