Nike “Be True” Family Reunion Dunks
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jun 5, 2008 Over the weekend Nike hosted an exclusive, invite only event called the Nike “Be True” Family Reunion. This was a tight lipped friends and family affair with live music by The Cool Kids, Double G, and No Age, a Boston Celtics Dunk tank, BBQ, and free Dunks for attendees.
The Dunks that were handed out at the event were dressed in a solid silver nylon upper with red and blue accents drawing a parallel to the Nike Vandal Supreme that we will see in a vintage make up later in the year. Photos of sneakers found on eBay. |

I am with you on that too. I haven’t been THAT impressed with the Dunks this year even though this is supposed to be the “Year of the Dunks”. I only have one pair so far this year and even those I got them through a Nike employee.
I honestly would rather see a set of Dunks in Vandal Supreme colors than Vintage Vandal Supremes.

Glad i’m not alone in feeling a little disappointed with the fact that in this “year of the dunks” there hasn’t really been any “must have” release to blow me away…i’ve spent more $$$ and time lately looking for past releases (pharrel, ‘04 gold olympic, huf, etc.) than I have trying to acquire new dunk releases. Please use your extensive connections and get word to Nike that we’d love to see a ‘VANDAL PACK’ dunk release

=/ yea you can do better than that…try less hard…or better yet dont try at all…thanks in advance btw i have been biddin on that pair from the link initial bid from me was $50 came back from class some cat has upped it outrageous
everytime i bid his autobid comes in higher than mine…right now its @ 102.50 =/ he prolly bid like 120 or something sorry i dont want these that bad lolol
