Air Jordan 1 From Countdown Package
Posted by vulkan | Jul 7, 2008 Wondering what Air Jordan 1 is coming out with the Air jordan XXII (22) well these here are the first Images of the color way selected to be produced by Jordan Brand. Last year many thought the Alpha Air Jordan 1 and Omega Air Jordan XXII was the first actual dose of the packages but JB decided to make a countdown package anyways for this year. The shoe seems to be a higher cut than the mid top Air jordan 1’s we have grown use to the past years and a nice subtle white black color way is set on the Iconic shoe, check out the pictures after the jump via sole-locker.com. |

man i agree with you 100%…the og black and red 1’s are probably the sickest jordans to come out to date since their release and they keep putting white on the shoe minus the sole and they ARE NOT! the originals withe the all black and red, it makes me mad

Simple yet fresh, I won’t be coppin this package becuz I have the Omega XX2s that I barely wear and about 3 pairs of 1s so I think I will pass. Everybody knows the XI/XII pack will the hottest, but I wonder what pairs of XXs and IIIs they will bring back out.

@Shad: You could try Vintagekicks.com(Flightclub), they sell a lot of Jordans, but they’re a little more expensive most of the time. Sometimes you can find good deals though, I found the Black/Grey/White XX1’s for $160(with shipping) a month or so ago.

The reason i think they didn’t release the bulls colorway is because there have been 1,2,3 retros of it. this colorway along with the metallic series of 1’s from 85′ where never retroed.
so im down to cop these.
and they are using the oringal cut version of the 1s.

i am sure jordan brand is making money off these package releases. some of the packages are dope but there are some of them where i only want one shoe and i got to pay 300 to 400 dollars just to get that shoe. they should just release them on their own. i know this 23 campaign is all about matching all the jordans up to equal 23, i really think it is a brilliant ad campaign to get people to buy the jordans they didn’t like but c’mon we all know wich jordans are the best 1’s 2’s 3’s’ 4’s 5’s 11’s 12’s 13’s 23’s all of them in all original colorways is nice…. release those….

i will pass on these as well. I like 1’s and the XX2’s dont get me wrong. But I’d rather put $310 toward the 11 and 12 pack that is going to release. Although i would have really liked to see the space jams make a return in that pack since just about everyone has had a chance on the Bred jordan XI’s.

richay14…this is NOT a high top jordan 1…it may be higher than the OLNL package and may have 9 lace holes but it is not nearly as high as the OG’s from 1985…I am very disappointed and these pics made this an easy pass

I couldnt agree with you more. I have the Black/Red & Black/Blue AJ 1’s from 2001 and I really wish they would have kept the “Nike Air” for the “black-toe” and for these…and after the release of the II’s with “Nike” on back, I pondered the same thing. I love this colorway, classic…but I’m not sure if these are worth the money after seeing this post.

Nice shoe in a nice colorway. I even like the OG high top cut.
However, it would have been nice to see the “Nike Air” on the tongue and the removal of the “Jumpman” on the back.
Call me old school but with a classic like this, I would have preferred the “Nike Air” on them. Why JB decided to put “Nike” on the II’s (even though it said Jordan on the bottom) and not on the I’s is beyond me.

1- the black toe ones that come in the bmp [old love new love] they might have also been banned because i have a shirt where it shows the red and black shoes, and the red,black and white shoes[black toe] and says banned above them. but idk for sure.
2- this is a hot colorway, and i like the height of the shoe and it comes out on my birthday so …. but im gonna ask for games on my bday so wah.
3- i have to see what the 22 looks like anyway.

I like these but they are so plain just a black and white shoe and I think everyone else knows that they can buy the 1s for a buck and not pay 310 for a simple black and white shoe

everytime the hightop 9-hole “one” comes back it’s silhouette looks totally different than the 1985 original. The closest to the original in my opinion were the 2001 additions.
Note to JB: Make them higher please!

i think this is an OG colorway. while not near as popular as most of the OG colorways of the jordan one, i’m glad to see that cut raised a little higher.
most people don’t realize there were about 20 original colorways released of the jordan one, but the most popular ones tend to be the bulls colorways.
makes me wonder why they didn’t pick a red/black colorway for the pack like they’ve done for every other pack so far…

My favorite pair of Jordan 1s of all time
It is bitter sweet to see these come back since I loved having something hard to find, but I am glad to finally be able to wear this colorway.
I am amped to see what is the Jordan XX2 in the package. That and the XX1 are my two favorite Jordans past the 16. Great design and very comfortable.

Clean colorway. Simple but nice. However I will not be copping the 1/22 pack. I got the Retro 1BMP and I hated the 22’s.
