Air Jordan 1 High/Mid Sample
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jul 18, 2008 Last week we got a look at the Countdown Pack Air Jordan 1 that will make its way in the 1/22 Countdown Pack, but as with any Jordan that is selected, there are always some colors that didn’t make the cut.
One that didn’t get picked for the pack was another original color in Black/Grey, but while it is nice to see “what could have been,” the buyer of this sample pair noticed something a little interesting - one foot was the mid top, the other was a high top. Does this mean that high top Air Jordan 1’s aren’t gone for good as we once thought? Possibly down the road will we get a high cut in some OG classic colors? Only time will tell. Take a look at the photos posted after the jump provide by cincybcats22 of NikeTalk. Just a heads up, the shoes are grade school size, so if the shape or proportions don’t look dead on, that is probably why. |

I must say they really outdid them selfs with that sample.
I Just dont like the Jumpman symbol embroider in the back i think it kills the shoe.
with as samples.
it seems like a the metallic series might making a come back.

You know what the problem is with Jordan releases everything is not what it seems next year might be saturated with wack releases of the 1s in mid with straps or be a golden year of Air Jordan 1 og color ways all new ones that are gonna be hot . All my money is going for a white primary and purple og pair .

These should be in the package…..looking at the sole magazine i noticed this colorway…..and i said if they ever were to drop it’s on…….I hope JB decides to release these.

These are ok but not really my taste.Why would jb make a grey and black high top when they know it wouldn’t work in the cdp?Maybe cause they knew it would leak onto websites and create hype for next year when they are dropping several high top I’s?On another note..Can’t wait for those high top black and infared I’s next year but I hope there not a pinkish infared that nike has been producing lately

This color was always one of my top 5 favorite OG colorways back in da mid to late 80’s. I would way rather have this colorway den da OG black and whites for da CDP or better yet, a realease on it own.

yeah i would rock these to sleep [thats my expression xD] but gs is a pain in the butt. but i wasnt on planning on getting the 1/22 pack because the 22’s aint al lthat hard on for me. if they brought back the stealth 1s ls then i might have got tthem because i need those.

This is major news in my opinion. This means that Jordan Brand has been tinkering (no pun) with the high tops then even though G gave some BS excuse a couple years ago.
