Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement Grey CDP
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jul 22, 2008 The Black/Red Jordan 4 made its return over the weekend for the first time since its first retro release in 1999, but there is another retro return that is building just as much hype. The Black/Cement Grey Air Jordan 3 was last seen in August of 2001 and the 7 years since its release has been far too long for many. Resale prices have pushed a deadstock pair from ‘01 far out of the affordable range making the Jordan 3/20 Countdown Package one of the most anticipated.
One thing that will be noticeably different from the 2008 CDP Air Jordan 3 and the 2001 retro version is the logo on the heel tab of the shoe. The infamous “NIKE AIR” made its last appearance on the back of the Black/Cement Grey Jordan 3 and will be replaced with the Jumpman and “AIR” instead. Osneaker has once again hooked us up with some detailed shots of this upcoming release. They have a few pairs way ahead of the scheduled release in October. |

Man this is not the best pack ever guys the 3s are dope cnt say the least the 5s are good 2 but look at the shoes that come wit it not fire at all . I think the best packages are the 16s and 7s and the 11s and 12s pack if u a tru sneaker head u should kno this not like dem wanna bees talkin crap about how they pass on the 3s but they’ll cop the xx wat kinda crap is dat!!??

Hmm, something tells me that these might be more popular than the Air Jordan 4/19 pack. These have been desired forever by everyone and their mother, and the 20s did pretty well, too. We’ll see.

I got the same pair from Marqueesole about a week ago. When I got them they look and feel fake. And I cannot compare the previous retroes because I never had one. And i guess these shoes where invented back in the late 80’s and don’t expect comfort. I’m still hoping I got the real one’s.

I got a pair from a friend in HK and they are super dope. Some small updates but those pics do not do them right. They are fresh as a squeezed Orange.

Yeah, I know all the colorways already, I’m just curious to see how well the Vs came out. It’s a little hard to get a feel for what the shoe itself looks like by just looking at the old retro’s with Nike Air on the Back and yellowed soles

@mcmcnyc: V’s will be White/Black/Fire Red’s (original’s, not like the ‘06 Retro) with a 23 on the side like on some of the recent retro’s. Pictures haven’t surfaced yet if I’m remembering correctly. Not sure why.

@damien: XI’s will be Black/Red’s (like the 2001 version’s, not Black/Red Spacejams or Black/Blue SJ’s), and XII’s will be Taxi’s. Confirmed months ago.
I wish they were gonna be SJ’s, I would’ve bought two.
@RipJordan: I’m very (at least 80%) sure the XX’s are Black with suede.
Now then, I’ve never been a fan of Black/Cement IV’s or III’s. They are nice, I just prefer the White/Cement III’s/IV’s over them. I might cop for the XX’s though since I’ve been wanting a pair.

I hate what jordan brand is doing…keep releasing shoes in packs first, and also they drop them out continuously 1 after the other..some ppl cant keep up with the shoes because before you know it they already came out and sold out

This is a must cop! Is it me or does the top leather look real soft? INSTANT CREASES!!! Oh well… thats what those inserts that Foot Locker always trys to sell me EVERYTIME i go in there are for. And someone said the XX’s are all suede??? Similar to the XIV’s earlier this year… Can someone please clarify this for me lol?

I sent pics of these to TheShoeGame.com about two weeks ago….the ankle padding in these is thinner than the older retro’s and the stitching on the top of the tongues looks less than perfect…but that’s not a big deal….still fresh as hell.
