Sole Obsession x New Balance 991
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Jul 22, 2008 New Balance recently hosted Singapore based Sole Obsession to tour their factory in the far northwest corner of the UK in the tiny coastal town of Flimby. While there the team was fortunate enough to create their own 1 of 1 New Balance 991 and with taking inspiration from other upcoming models, Sole Obsession went with colors inspired by the New Balance 850 set to return next year.
The New Balance 991 will have a big year next year for inline product as well. For the first time ever the running shoe will be made inversions that contain no mesh on the upper, but rather full grain leather. thanks for the info. I figured it had something to do with load times. never really had any problems but I’m sure some folks did. thanks for keeping us informed. look forward to the compair pics

^ I have been waiting on this software that has been in development for a long time, but i have decided to not wait any longer and we will roll out an alternative within the next week. Stay tuned for that

Speaking of the site, are there any plans to fix the forums or to fix the picture upload problem?
Shoes are nice, not NB’s best, but still good. NB has been doing good latley, alot of great releases.

Liking the new site design. Thumbnails are good for loading times. Shoes are pretty good, don’t like the color choices though.

^ We wanted to clean things up a bit with thumbnails rather than a long page full of images to scroll through.
As for the NB 991s, I am going to post up the 850s in a minute so everyone can see where the inspiration came from

as much as I love NB, I’m not really feeling these. and why the linked pics and not full size right in the thread?
