Air Jordan Fusion 3 Premier Released!

Yesterday, the Air Jordan Fusion 3 Premiers were posted on Air Jordan Flight Club, only to be taken down immediately after we announced them being available. The shoes have been reposted and are available now at Nike.com for the entire public at a price of $160. This is the third release of “premier” Jordan Fusions. Each pair comes dressed in patent leather with luxurious touches of gold accents. Each pair has another subtle feature with “The Best on Earth” at the back of the sole on the black pair while the white pair reads “The Best on Mars” playing on the theme of a classic Mars Blackmon / Michael Jordan commercial. noooooo stop the madness, fusions are TERRIBLE, the 12 fusions were hot but once the 5’s started and people are running around with bootleg 8 fusions it just got out of hand, i KNOW someone saw the retro 8 and 4 air force 1’s, i laugh at dudes in the mall rockin them because they look so off

These leave me very cold. I don’t think they work at all, but I think you’re right Matt: it’s AJ3s that come to mind rather than AF1s.
The only hybrids I’ve bought from Nike were the B Huaraches in the obsidian/green colourway. I think they work very nicely.

I hear you about that. The Fusion 3s are the first I have considered buying to be honest. The Spizike I liked only in the cement color up, and only liked the Dub Zero in the Chicago colors.
On the Nike side of things, I am yet to purchase any “hybrid” shoe.

I like the OG black ajf3’s better than these patent leather ones. In fact, I think those (other) black fusions look super dope. In regards to fusions in general, there are some nice ones being made amidst the overall meh. I am looking at my ajf5’s right now, they are crispy, blackandred. You gotta wear them like 5’s though, scrap the strap, pop the tongue, don’t lace them too high. They look fresh.

Matt, I don’t hate all of the fusions(although the majority I haven’t liked), I just refuse to buy them. I don’t want to support this type of trend in JB/Nike.

I recognize that every shoe can be seen a different way, but when you look at the AJF 3s does AF1 come to mind first or Jordan 3?

Sometimes the hate for fusions seems to be a bit of a “follow the leader” type of thing. I personally have not been a fan of many fusions, but the Fusion 3s I think look pretty decent. I am not to big on the white joints, but I think the black ones are very sexy.
I am not going to buy either one - saving for the Black/Cement and White/Cement fusions instead.
