Puma Cell Meio for Jamaica

Olympic history was made and world records were broken a few nights ago, but while Michael Phelps received much attention at the Water Cube for his 8th gold medal, Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt lead a 100m medal sweep with a world record time of 9.69s at the Bird’s Nest. The Jamaican Olympic team is outfitted by Puma and fittingly a metallic gold color of the Puma Cell Meio was made for them for the Olympic Games. It as well as country makeups for Sweden and Moracco are available along with the inline Puma Cell Meio’s at Finishline and Foot Locker.

Wow you are very ill informed. He was def. not wearing pumas, first of all those don’t have spikes i don’t think pumas even makes spikes. Second of all i read an interview with him and hes wearing like Nike lightnings or something to that effect. I no he def. wasn’t wearing Pumas, Pumas are only preppy shoes with no purpose.

He’ll get way faster. His coach has said they’re still working on his technique and he just turned 22. In the 200m, he ran against the wind and still broke the record. Imagine if he had a legal wind blowing behind him!!!
Bolt should try adding the 400m and go for 5 gold medals in London since Phelps wants to get 9 gold medals and is working on entering new races.
As for Ben Johnson, Carl Lewis tested positive for banned substances before the 88 games, but the USOC still allowed him to compete so give Johnson back his gold!!!

Ben Johnson represented Canada so i guess he’s a Canadian…
We don’t even know where to go to get those [Balco Drugs].. & further more if we did they wouldn’t give us a sample anyways… they only want their American athletes to succeed…
we eat fresh fish & yam & sugar cane.. we run on rocky dirt roads and thats why we look like we are flying when we put on those fancy sprints… we run sub 10s in 96 Jordans broo… so could you even imagine what we can do on that rubber track..

Even though Ben Johnson ran for Canada, he WAS from Jamaica.
Every country has their time, like when Canada won the 100m and 4×100m in 1996.
Right now it’s Jamaica’s time and I won’t even deny that. A good sprinter, no matter where they’re from, gets me fired up being that I am a former sprinter.

even though it was his record, you would think he would want to push it even harder to keep it that much out of reach of the next person.
The dude is fast, but so much can happen between now and the next Olympics. Four years is a LONG time, and in a sport of hundredths of seconds, he might be able to get as fast of a time as he could get now.
I’m happy for the dude, but he is MAD arrogant if you ask me. I wish he pushed his hardest and smashed the record.

yo, everyone is talking about how he “slowed” up near the end, but real talk they talked to him after the race and he said he was not pressed about the record because it was his record! his primary concern was winning. big up “lightning” bolt!

^^ Ha ha …… man no doubt. The Jamaicans are killin’ mad dudes at short distance track and field running.
Good for Puma to have a power player in their pocket! While I like these shoes (AND the Morocco black/red ones more), they are not like the ones Usain wore when he smashed the 100m and 200m world records. Those Pumas (called Complete Theseus II) were gold with a metallic/reflective GOLD back piece. Also the Puma stripes were not grass green but more like a dark evergreenish brown. Those are the shoes I want, scratch that–NEED– to wear casually. Puma please make some!

Mars Blackmon would be dead wrong if these was jordans It ain’t the Shoes. I don’t think Puma has had a athelete of this level in their sneaks since that Vince Carter & Ricky Williams Circus. Just give his due don’t matter where he’s jamaica or anywhere else BOLT is def the Worlds FASTEST MAN! I know Tyson Gay didn’t even make the final and i think the injury had a say in that but i don’t it would have mattered if he did. BOLT is def gonna be a FORCE like Nike. If he doesn’t get caught up in the drug rumors or any positive test which seems to be the Norm is Track & Field these days.

he is insane and cocky. near the end of the 200m and 100m sprints he just jogged cuz he was so far ahead. he could have got a way better record. I saw he was wearing them they look tight!! the sole is fresh
