?uest Love Air Force Ones (again)
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Aug 15, 2008 The ?uest Love Air Force One was the first of the 1World Air Force Ones to be widely available at multiple locations. First released at Alife in NYC and UBIQ, people lined up for days to get a piece of something special, but for those who spent all the time waiting in line only to resell, the joke has really been on them. Immediately after the release, ?uest Love Air Force Ones were receiving very high prices, but as more and more stores received deliveries, the price began to fall. Call it poetic justice or just irony. All in all, I suppose the moral of the story is wait in line for a shoe that you truly want, not just to try to make a buck or two.
This weekend the ?uest Love Air Force 1 will be making an encore appearance at multiple locations across the country including Proper in Long Beach, CA and Politics Lafayette, LA just to name a few. |

Aug 16, 2008 at 7:52 am
Nike now knows what to do in the future. They should screw over resellers in every limited release like that.
Aug 16, 2008 at 12:56 am
Still really ugly

these need to release in miami
Aug 15, 2008 at 4:48 pm
Not for me but I won’t knock anyone who likes them… Thats the beautiful thing about style… Its about individual taste and how the one person murks it…
Oh and lmaooooo to the resellers, I mean I won’t knock ur hustle (most of my sneakers are from Flight Club NY so I appreciate resellers) But sometimes just sometimes u guys push the bar on prices with disregard to the sneaker heads who actually want the sneakers… Now I know they are tight! lmao
Aug 15, 2008 at 4:44 pm
hopefully i can cop them

Anyone in the ATL area, they are supposed to be showing up at Wish this Sat. Not sure if I’ll get them myself. I’m a fan of Questlove, and The Roots, but no skin off my back if I sleep on these.

I like the shoe personally but am getting sick of “limited” (i.e. overhyped) Nike releases…AND RELEASES THAT START FROM SZ 8! *venting*
Aug 15, 2008 at 1:50 pm

Aug 15, 2008 at 1:01 pm
Personally i love’em and i’ll be waiting for these to turn up.
Aug 15, 2008 at 12:38 pm
The only reason why people like these sneakers is cuss they’re limited, to me these are hideous
Aug 15, 2008 at 11:56 am
im sorry, i dont care how much meaning might be behind it, that is one ugly shoe….
i proudly nickname this one the “nike, what the hell were they thinking, air force one”
Aug 15, 2008 at 11:47 am
Yeah honestly these sneakers are not that great to me especially at $235. I have the Huf Air Forces which in my opinion are better. I saw about 5 people camping out for these in my area. One person I think is going to try in resell because he was like 60 years old or maybe he is inline for someone. I will say the gold toe ones are fresh though if I could get those I buy them.
Aug 15, 2008 at 11:02 am
hey, any chance of these comin back 2 NY? i would really appreciate a second chance
Aug 15, 2008 at 11:00 am
I never understood the insane hype for the shoes. If you like the shoes or you like The Roots, sure go for them, but I think half the people who camped outside of Alife just saw others out there and were trying to get a little piece of the reselling action.
I bet alot of those roaches thought that the shoes would resell like the Pedro Winters or whatever. lol I guess the joke is on them or the fools who paid out the ass for something they thought would be sooooo limited.
I hope Nike has more releases like this in the future. Anything that fukks with the resellers economics will help to thin the line out
