Air Jordan XX3 “Desert Eagle” PE
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Sep 2, 2008 Several months ago Jordan Brand hosted their annual All-American game with the nations top high school basketball players. This year each player was outfitted for the game in the own personalized PE in an exclusive colorway as well as their nickname stitched to the heel just like JB Team members in the league receive.
Devin Ebanks of St. Thomas More (Oakdale, CT) was treated with this pair with his nickname “Desert Eagle” added to the ankle. Either Devin received extra pairs not worn in the game or Nike had some back ups floating around, but either way, they found their way to osneaker.com. Devin will have to wait until he gets into the NBA for his next set of Jordan PE’s as he will be playing next year at University of Indiana in Adidas. Hypothetically, if this colorway came to stores, would you grab them? |

oo.. my boy Banks.. was everywhere with that kid… played with him all around… Was there wen he was at Louglin, played against him at Lincoln… Was on Panthers with him.. played him in Queens Bridge tourney… everywhere. These are deff left overs at Nike cuz i know Banks.

most definately would cop. isnt the rumor currently that this is the pair dropping in the winter? i definately hope so.
only thing im not feeling is the front signature area. it has that straight off the retro fire red 3’s cement print feeling… which i didnt like.

@ #36 PE stands for player edition as in players get a special pair of shoes made just for them with their team colors or jersey number and nickname

I don’t (and probably never will) like the lettering stitching on the side nor do I like the placement (but then again where else are they going to put it?).
Why isn’t MJ releasing at least one more colorway of the XX3? I wouldn’t ming this colorway if they release it (or maybe white, black and red…or white on white with dark blue.

I personally know devin. he used to play with my brother at bishop loughlin b4 transferring to prep school. je’s come a long way. maybe when he goes to the league he can throw me n my bro a exclusive pair of J’s, IF, he signs with JB. and i know not many people follow the highschool circut, so its fine, but ebanks is going to WVU, he opted out of indiana in about February. im rooting for WVU, they have some nice NY dudes attending they wear nikes at WVU, but i dont know if they wear jordans. usually only school like Cincinnati,UNC and St johns get J’s. a few more, cant remember. i dont know if you can wear them if you usually get regular nikes

hell ya i’d grab ‘em and i haven’t copped a pair of XX3’s yet…just cuz i think they’re ugly and no good to rock to school…maybe a good b-ball shoe but not a fashion statement but these grab eyes and guessing by the fact that this article was just posted and already there’s like 20 somethin posts JB’d do itself well to release these!
