Nike Air Force 3 ‘Hornets’
Posted by George Kiel III | Sep 23, 2008 Do you remember Grand Ma-Ma and Alonzo in those pin-stripe clown suits? Well, if these kicks don’t bring back memories I don’t know what will! Nike has been pumping out Air Force One’s at an unbelievable rate, and we’ve even seen a rare sighting of the Air Force Two’s lately. However, we’ve came across an endangered species: the Nike Air Force 3.
A House of Hoops special edition, the Air Force 3 Charlotte Hornets Edition, contain a white upper with electric blue and purple accents. Reminiscent to the ancient Charlotte Hornets’ jerseys, these sneakers are lined with pinstripes and also include 3M reflective material. They made a debut this past weekend at HOH, so if you want them get there as soon as possible. Do you want to see more Air Force 3’s in the future? Well, I said the other day that I want more of the Air Force 3, but I forgot to say that I don’t like pin stripes. So I’ll say it: I don’t like pin stripes.
I love high-top cuts, but I wonder: are these as high as the OG AF3? Looks like a Throwback Thursday is in order… if anyone has an OG AF3!

naw bra, you got to keep the stripes on’em thats what set them , when i saw it i had a flashback, i saw Zo,larry johnson and mugsy bouges….lol. i love that single dark green stripe on the back…dem kicks with jersey to match…is sick

xnyles, I’ve seen the Hornets play PLENTY of times, in person and on TV.
The Hornets may not have been the greatest of teams in the NBA, but they did have PLENTY of good seasons.
The play of that team was good and solid, just always plagued with injury.

Definitely a dope summer shoe. But if I had a Starter Hornets pullover jacket, I’d rock ‘em in the Fall, lol. The Bulls & Raiders both had raw pullovers, but the Hornets had the best one.

can u say heat? i want those on my feet asap no doubt. the hornet colors a one of the hottest colorways i.m.o. and although i was just a cub wen grandmama was rockin theez they are a must have. [i used to have one of his posters hung up ..right next to the undertaker one above my tv lol]
