Air Jordan 6 Rings (New Colorway)
Posted by George Kiel III | Oct 27, 2008 Obviously, the Air Jordan 6 Rings is a ‘Love Me or Hate Me shoe. With that said, this new colorway defines that term to the fullest. Officially releasing January 2009 in the U.S., this new style has been spotted at Sole-Locker for $220.
This vivid Jordan 6 Rings features a black upper with varsity green, red, and purple accents on the tongue, heel, and outsole. The most interesting feature on this shoe is the design on the upper that portrays laser drawings of what seems to be past Jordan memories and highlights. There was a commercial showing Charles Barkley dunking over Godzilla, I think that’s because they put it on them.

I saw a Sneek Geekz vid and he has these and he was showing all of the Details to the shoe and I gotta admit that Six Ring is Nice and I will have these on my Feet this coming January.

Man lots of comments/opinions on these. Im against the fusions/spizikes/dub zero/six rings fiasco just like every other true jordan head but i like to just have one pair of each except for the fusions and they ruined every model of the six rings except for the lasers. im psyched that the lasers are being rereleased on 2/13. stay up young ballas and dont buy into the hype on these. cool idea with the symbols for how J got his championships but bad color scheme and cheap black pleather on the bottom.

You guys are way off. MJ slayed Godzilla in the desert for his third ring. Which is a representation of Charles Barkley and Phoenix Suns. Barkley used to have a nike add which included godzilla. The bridge on there is a bridge in Portland Oregon. It is a representation of the second ring MJ won vs. the Blazers. Jordan is really falling off its sad. I remember I used to cop every time they dropped the retros. Now they makin trash fushions,6 rings and expect you to buy 2 pairs of retros for over $300 in this economy. Bad part about it only one pair of them might be hot.

I saw these about 5 months ago in person.
the colorway is a mix of the colors of every team the bulls beat in the finals. (Lakers, Blazers, Jazz, Sonics) There’s mad detail in the stitching. If i remember correctly even though the pic doesnt show it there’s a mailbox for Karl Malone on the shoe too lol. And a glove for Gary Payton. You’re all welcome for the info. Im not a big 6 rings fan but i might cop these and rock em wit a nice purple ralph polo with a green, yellow, or red polo symbol. Plz dont jock my wave LOL
