Posted by George Kiel III | Oct 15, 2008 Yesterday we showed you the Converse Wade 4; however, Converse has another superstar on its roster dropping his first ever signature sneaker. The Converse EB1, Elton Brand’s first shoe, has been spotted on Converse’s online store. We’ve also seen Brand sporting these in the NBA preseason games.
Inspired by the Philadelphia 76ers colorway (Brand’s new team), these sneakers feature a black and red leather upper and a rubber outsole. The midfoot strap supposedly locks down the foot for reliable support and stability. Which Converse signatures are better: Converse Wade 4 or Converse EB1? These shoes have great reviews from people who ball in them. They look a lot better in person.

it’s a flippin hoop shoe! cut the dudes some slack! i think they look fine, its not like we’re supposed to be tearin up the club in it. and i’m sure it performs well too. it’s no different than the Barwin or the Sharkley. with all the other options, i wold most likely say no too, but at that price point and his target market, it’s almost perfect. we’ll see…

OKAY, EB is one of those elite 20-10 guys who can get it with their handstied behind their backs, but with wade who is a bigger star, and his shoes not selling, what makes him think these will? especially at JC penny? i’ve only seen commercials of that store on TV. never actually seen one that i remember of, or ever went in one. this deal makes me scratch my head. but if they are comfortable, i guess it wont matter
