Jackie Robinson Nike Blazer High Pack
Posted by George Kiel III | Oct 9, 2008 In memory of baseball legend Jackie Roosevelt Robinson, Nike will be dropping this Nike High Blazer pack. Comprised of three colorways, this pack is perfect for you die-hard baseball fans. One of its colorways, the Court Blue/White model, is inspired by the Brooklyn Dodgers club he played for. However, each colorway is imprinted wth the Brooklyn Dodgers B logo throughout the sneaker on the upper. An unique artistic design is visible on and around the swoosh.
Nike should be applauded for paying homage to Jackie Robinson. This pack will release in May 2009, one month after Jackie Robinson Day, for $78 apiece. View all three colorways after the jump provided by Sneaker Files. |

Jackie Robinson is the man, he paved the way for many of our athletes today. But as for the shoe, I think Nike should have went a totally different direction though. The design just doesn’t speak Jackie Robinson.
