Jordan Melo M5 White/University Blue PE
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Oct 10, 2008 Carmelo Anthony gave the world a brief preview of the Jordan Melo M5 a couple months ago in the Gold Medal Game in Beijing wearing an Olympic colorway. Wednesday at a Nuggets practice at Metro State College in Denver, CO Melo broke out a Nuggets PE colorway of his fifth signature shoe with Jordan Brand.
The Jordan Melo M5 looks promising from the few photos we have seen of the shoes and looks to incorporate some familiar lines from the Jordan XX3 as well as the Melo M4. The M5, like all of Melo’s prior signature models, were designed by D’Wayne Edwards, the Design Director for Jordan Brand footwear. More shots of the shoes in action after the jump. The Jordan Melo M5 will become available to the public on November 22nd for $128. More info listed on the Jordan release dates page. |

You know these are good looking, but JB need to bring those 18.5’s back out. Only two colors came out, that doesn’t make any sense to me. The 18.5’s were real nice.

I’VE BEEN WITH MELO SINCE THA 18.5, SO I’M COPPIN

You can tell that the bottom part of the shoe is just like the M4 and the rest of the shoe is modeled after the Jordan23. Melo needs a new Designer because Dwayne Edwards is not coming up with any orginal concepts. Since the M3 Melo really hasnt had a “great” signiture shoe

Yeah, I like the Hyperdunks in the Nuggets colorway better.
Oct 10, 2008 at 9:03 am
