Kicks On Court: NBA Season Begins - October 29th, 2008
Posted by George Kiel III | Oct 29, 2008 The 2008-09 NBA regular season started with a couple of great games last night starring Cleveland Vs Boston and Los Angeles Vs Portland. Our first Kicks On Court Edition of the regular season spotted a very pleasant surprise.
If you haven’t heard or seen yet, Ray Allen hooped in a pair of never-before-seen ‘NBA Championship’ Air Jordan 11 PEs. This White/Metallic Gold-Varsity Green Jordan 11 PE is inspired by the pre-game NBA Championship ceremony the Celtics had in which they received their rings. Again I say…Ray Allen always has the best PEs. Allen was not the only Celtic in gold and green though. Rajon Rondo hooped in a Nike Zoom BB II Lo PE in the same colorway. On another note, Lebron James sported the Nike Zoom Lebron 6 after hooping in the Nike Zoom Lebron Soldier 2 for most of the preseason. Click the jump to see more sneakers worn by Kobe Bryant, Brandon Roy, Kevin Garnett, Derick Fisher and others. Who else is excited the season is finally here? |

Oden is wearing the Nike Power Max if you didn’t see any of the replays that were showed MANY times of him injuring his ankle lol. It’s starting to look like another Sam Bowie for Portland! haha

Oct 29, 2008 at 3:30 pm
For the cats that be complain about all the hype surrounding the Hyperdunks. Besides the design itself, try lacing up a pair, get on the court and ball in them, or at least walk to the mailbox. Then let me know what you think…

ya mang Davis’ hd’s were hot, I too am surprised they weren’t profiled in this thread. Also, anyone have an answer as to why Rondo was wearing Nike’s? Reebok has been hyping him up. Dude did sprain his ankle during pre-season… and his shoes ARE always coming off his feet, so maybe he said eff it, seems strange though. If this is a permanent change then I am happy, Rondo is one of my favorite players, Reebok’s are junk!
Oct 29, 2008 at 2:52 pm
man them 11s are fresh same as the hyperdunks. but idk y no one has noticed glen “big baby” davis’ golden hyperdunks. those were sooooooooo clean
Oct 29, 2008 at 2:18 pm
Ray allen has the freshest pe’s ever…
Oct 29, 2008 at 1:54 pm
Some of you people, man are you idiots.
How about Kobe has been sticking his tongue out, since the McDonald’s All-American game… and probably earlier than that!
And Brandon Roy isn’t wearing Blue Chips either…

“Not sure what the big hype is about hyperdunks…. o.k. at best!”
I agree with you from the perspective of looks, the Hyperdunks are mediocre. But if you’re into performance, the Hyperdunks are deserving of all the hype. It’s the lightest basketball shoe on the market and does so without sacrificing any structural components- the ankle support is top notch, the fit is snug, and has the comfortable sole you’d expect from a Nike product.
Oct 29, 2008 at 1:09 pm
how come odom’s kicks is not here?
its a nice colorway for the hyperdunks.
way better than what kobe’s wearing.
Oct 29, 2008 at 12:56 pm
