Kobe Nike Hyperdunk Supreme
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Oct 29, 2008 While there have been some shots of the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 floating around on the web, it looks like Mr. MVP will be wearing the Nike Hyperdunks for the next several months. Though not exactly like the ones he wears on court, this colorways is quite similar and close enough for many fans of Mr. Bryant. The shoes are slightly higher than the regular Hyperdunks, but still a pretty decent price of $125.

these shoes are sick!! I’m glad the backs are black and not yellow like the one’s kobe’s wearing in the pic. the black makes them look sharp!!

OK, LETS GET THIS STRAIGHT NOW
THESE ARE NOT THE PAIRS THAT CAME OUT AT HOH!
The ones that came out at HoH were PE’s! patent leather, and the back the hyperdunk was yellow in instead of all black, and the bottom was black instead of all yellow, as you can see in the pic where Kobe is wearing his. Also, the tag on the inside said “promo sample” and the ones that came out at HoH came in a special glass case.
and another thing, nobody camped out for them when they first came out, hoh just released them randomly….i know, cuz i was there and brought a pair with the glass case.
These GR’s dont compare, they look cheap. Im not hating, im just telling the truth.

also the limited pairs sold at house of hoops have yellow accents on the heel and midfoot underneath the nike tick…. as you can see kobe is wearing the limiteds, the ones pictured are the gr release… still a hot sneak, nice subtle changes to keep the limited ones..limited i guess

I always think the “live action” shots make the plastic on the side look funny. But the shoes are mad comfortable, so I guess it’s not important.

The Rice Hyperdunks were HOH as well, but this colorway did release at the HOH as what was thought to be an exclusive last spring. The only difference was that the leather parts were patent leather.

The HOH version had patent leather on the toe box, correct? The GR version does not. I have purchased both pairs and extremely pleased with both of them.

and I’m still soo surprised at how nike hasn’t worked as hard on creating a Kobe line that could potentially dominate the basketball sneakerworld of today. Kobe is arguably the closest to michael jordan we’ll ever see, and I feel they are doing way too much on the Lebron line and Kobe is well deserving of a sneaker line that could at least resemble the Jordan line of MJ’s beginning years.
