Lupe Fiasco x PRODUCT (RED) Converse Chuck Taylor Low
Posted by George Kiel III | Oct 13, 2008 We can definitely credit Lupe Fiasco with bringing a very peculiar swagger to the hip hop world, and this collaborative effort is just as unique. The Coolest rapper joins forces with Converse to create the low-cut version of the Converse PRODUCT (RED). Earlier in the year, we showed you the high-top version, and many of you frantically requested a release date. Supposedly, along with the low-cut style, these sneakers will release in January 2009.
Wrapped in black patent leather, these sneakers are very unique and eye-catching to say the least. Red accents are visible on the tongue, midsole, and laceholders. The PRODUCT (RED) campaign’s goal is to increase awareness and raise money for humanitarian efforts. Easy pass for me not that there is anything wrong with these but the older I get I understand that I can’t buy ever pair of sneakers that release regardless of how nice they are.
