Nike Air Max Foamdome Black
Posted by Nick Engvall | Oct 20, 2008 The Nike Air Max Foamdome is one of those kicks that is a love/hate shoe for most. The Neon Royal colorway got a lot of attention, but these Black/Black-Anthracite joints are sure to catch more.
The Foamdome is a shoe-like boot, that takes inspiration and design cues from the Foamposite and combines it with the Air Goadome boot from the Nike ACG line. With the full length air sole unit, I would imagine these are probably comfortable, but I probably will never know since my winters require jeans at most to keep me dry and warm. Is the hefty $225 price tag on these new kicks too much? Thanks to KicksOnFire for the pics and info. |

Bmore all day. i rock da foams, flights,and nike boots. they are some of the freshest shoes out rite now n if u aint from da dmv u wont undastand but das how we get down n we stay fresh n know we fresh. n if u aint coppin dese then u gota cop da purple dopes n febuary. rite now ima cop da new dope boots n blu or black it dont mata but just not 4 $225. when they come down ill cop em.

Hey, Halloween’s coming up. This would be the perfect match to your costume if you have $225 to burn. I know them dudes in DC will match these up with their Frankenstein gear. Makes sense in the grand scheme of things.

Moe,if you not from the D-dot C you wont know. Yea that’s why we rock Nike boots, Foams, Penny’s and Jay’s all day. We are the keepers of fresh foot wear and our own special gear we design and wear. This shoe is a hood staple. I don’t know if any of you ever been to DC, but everyone wears Penny’s and everyone wears Nike Boots. DMV classics! Nike putting them together was only a matter of time.
Also in DC everyone be on New Balance 992s ji hard. Those NEVER go on sale.

This is great… while at the same time it is the ugliest sneaker/boot I ever seen. I do not know if this will be as popular as the Goado-mo-whatever, but it sure is ugly… I love the idea but WOW its ugly.

Man, Kevo Grand hit it on the head with that comment. If someone like Wale, Lil’ Wayne, Kanye West, or anyone else that folks consider fly, wore these it would garner a different reaction. To be honest, I think these could be fly as hell if rocked the right way. I live in Texas so copping these for our winters are out of the question. But they are still fly nonetheless.

Ok…..so i just got back from my university’s information session with nike….and one of the fellows on the panel was wearing these and i must say they look different from the rest of the nike boots but they arent bad.I have gotten used to foams and nike boots being in DC, but these arent that bad on peoples feet and i believe wale was spotted wearing the royal blue versions at my schools homecoming concert

Let an influential entertainer who many consider to be fly rock a pair of these. A lot of cats who are crying “ugly” would be all over these. Not everybody but a whole lotta people would change their tune (if it don’t apply, let it fly). Contrary to the prevailing sentiment, I like both pairs. But not for $225. How they chargin’ more than they charge for the actual Penny Foams? And no, I’m not tryna hear that “Because you’re getting the best of both worlds” garbage. Bring the price down and I’d consider buying a pair or two with my own money. Until then…

these were flying off the shelves on 125th street in Harlem and third avenue in the Bronx this past weekend…one kids at a foot locker on 3rd Ave left with EIGHT pairs, obviously he was sent on a run by someboy but that just shows you that these get love in the hood, deservedly so, i’d get a pair but i’m an old school timberland head

The regular black goadomes look so much better than these for about $100 less…i’d have to go w/ the electric blue if any at all.
