Not-so-Fab 5 Halloween Sneakers

While there have been some greats (Dia de los Muertos Dunks, Frankenstein AF1s, etc.) there have been some disasters in the form of a shoe. To celebrate the day, we decided to compose a list of shoes we would NEVER wear while going out Pumpkin smashing. |
Pro-Keds brought out a package of five Halloween edition kicks in for 2006, but these were definitely the worst of the bunch. Approximately five months before these dropped, Nike brought out the unforgettable and overly faked Invisible Air Force Ones. Nice execution of the theme, but these get the failing grade for lack of originality.

Funny to see how 2005 Bape and Nike do something then in 2006 and 2007 EVERYONE comes to the party…smh

^ The AF1s weren’t nearly as bad as the others, but the whole ’split’ idea is a little retarded. I don’t know if there was anyone dumb enough to pay $200 for those Crazy 8s though, they had TONS at my local outlet for $49.99 with no one giving them a second look lol.

The Pro Keds Halloween pack was not so great looking but they were the first to do the freddy kruger concept with the red green sweater then nike sb bit it afterwards.

I remember Pro-Keds had da FRIDAY the 13th jointz wit da hatchet on da tongue, n blood on da side. Those jointz was str8.

i don’t think the clear pro keds were that bad, i got them and the box said halloween pack and they were the clear ones but they didn’t have the ghost on the sole or tongue.
only thing i didn’t like was i wore them once or twice and they make your feet sweat BAD so it causes the shoe to fog up. but when i bough them i got them and some jamaican flag ones for $29.99 buy one get one free so it was a great deal.

Wow. Mtownzfinest1: it’s nice to see that someone has a brain of their own instead of following what a board or price tag says. The Pro-Keds are nowhere as bad as this board makes them out to be. I don’t have them but I have a very similar shoe as the jack-o-latern but not for Halloween, and I have more people ask me where I got them than any other shoe I own. I look at some of these other boards with crappy versions of Nike Air Max (some are great, some are downright crap) and it doesn’t matter the style everyone will praise it because of what it is. Same with celebrity shoes: either you like them or not based on your initial perception of the shoe type or celebrity, not whether it’s hideous or not. If I’m gonna be wearing a shoe it’s because I like it, not because some brainless say it’s good. It’s especially amazing how many people will love one shoe and hate another and they almost look exactly alike but one has less street cred. Ridiculous.
