Rockstar x Jordan Brand - Midnight Club: Los Angeles
Posted by George Kiel III | Oct 7, 2008 Jordan Brand never stops! Its latest project involves video game publisher Rockstar Games. Mostly known for its creation of the Grand Theft Auto Series, Rockstar Games has collaborated with JB to create a limited edition Air Jordan Flight 23 inspired by the Los Angeles street racing culture and forthcoming Midnight Club: Los Angeles video game. This particular Jordan Flight 23 is draped in red and black and features a red Midnight Club “Kanji†symbol embellished on the tongue. “Kanji” (Bayshore), is the location on the Japanese coast where street racing started.
This release is valued at $380, but you are not just paying for the sneakers. The shoes come in a custom-made etched acrylic collectors box with a copy of the Midnight Club: Los Angeles video game. However, only 40 pair will be created, and they can only be obtained two ways: winning them online at the Rockstar Games Social Club website or through promotions with the Foot Action Star Club and DUB. well, i wouldn’t wear this kinda shoe normally. but i guess the limited factor would play a part in anyone getting this. lets face it, ts not the greatest model. i dont know how this model is selling so far, but i wouldn’t wear em. i guess if its a collectors shoe, you wouldn’t wear them anyway. 380 is kinda cheap if only 40 pairs are being made. they could’ve picked another model

^^^Yeah saw this before i read comment #5 and that shoe is the Classic ‘87 not the Flight 23 who made that mistake??? Yeah i would probably pass if these were GR’s but theyre OK

The brand is in good time. Now bring this innovation based on this brand of video games, they should not have done that limited edition because the collectors of Jordan can not buy the shoes. The Jordan are beautiful in those colors, and that price is too expensive to acquire are difficult for people of limited resources, so collectors will be without this edition of the shoes. So, should the followers of Jordan go to the Web to acquire compulsorily???

I played da game @ the Dub show n June; its pretty good. As far as da shoe, it would’ve been better if it was an Air Jordan or atleast da Flight 23’s, not these Classic ‘87 jointz.

not feelin em. colorway is nice but why did they choose such a wack shoe. jb stop tryin to get the real jordan heads into team shoes. ya’ll know retros is where the money is. they should of used a shoe influenced by a car for the theme.(XIV) but whatever floats their boat i guess. and who wrote this, dog get your shoes straight.
