Phoenix Suns Nike Zoom Adrenaline - Anfernee ‘Penny’ Hardaway PE

Phoenix Suns Nike Zoom Adrenaline - Anfernee 'Penny' Hardaway PEDo not let these exclusives get your adrenaline pumping. For those of you that love Penny’s signature sneaker line…sorry; these will not be available for purchase. The Nike Zoom Adrenaline Penny Hardaway PE is a shoe that was made for Hardaway while he was playing for the Phoenix Suns.

Featuring a black and purple upper, its obvious these kicks are Phoenix Suns-inspired. They also feature the ‘1 Cent’ logo on the tongue in orange. Though this is not a part of his sneaker line, it seems Nike still supplied Penny with some nice player exclusives after his Orlando Magic days.

since there comin out wiff more pennies they shud make a phoenix penny 3 since there are barely suns colors in the penny line and penny 3 doesnt have many color ways

  2. KEVO

To whom it may concern…Please refer to 1996-97 Playoffs where Penny CARRIED the Magic and Scored Over 31 PPG including back-to-back 42/41 pt games, and almost single handedly eliminating the Miami Heat(IN THE FOAMPOSITE 1’s!!!)

  3. callie

“There’s way too many up and coming players yr to yr, especially at the guard spot that eclipses Penny’s game and “accomplishments.””…………..name me 10 (as many years since Penny has had an all star season), sheeet, name me 8, at the guard spot please.

  4. callie

oh yeah…..how did kobe n shaq fair against jordan n pip??? not nearly half as good as penny n shaq!!! that speaks volumes….

  5. callie

rod your a moron! Penny’s #’s are truly deceiving. He revolutionized the pg spot, paving the way for the new “big man” guard era (LBJ, TMAC etc). Plus he did this in the mid 90’s when there were hall of famers everywhere!!(jordan, pippen, olajuwon, robinson, ewing, miller, drexler, barkley and the list goes on.) He was a true combo guard that could easily play the 3, exceptional court vision, and off the charts basketball iq. Thats why he was effective even late in his career with Phoenix (yes Phoenix, he lead that team in the playoff with Kidd, even with Marbury he was effective in the playoffs) Obviously, you were still in diapers when penny was nearing his prime, of if your were not, then u were obviously blind!!! Dont make stupid posts. Do your research. An early version of the Phoenix Penny with all his injuries would still CRAP on a majority of these young duds in the NBA. Without injuries, easily a 1st ballot hall of famer

  6. steven

penny needs to try one last time, the kings need him :) hahaha

  7. solesaved

Thirty Eight! YESSS!!!! Just about as stupid as those DUMM DUMS who put FIRST. Don’t really like this sneak.

  8. rod

^You need to get over penny’s misfortunes and live beyond 1996. Getting hurt is part of the game and a player’s legacy doesn’t revolve around “what if’s..” The bottom line is penny played in the league 10 plus yrs and you don’t get defined in 3. There’s way too many up and coming players yr to yr, especially at the guard spot that eclipses Penny’s game and “accomplishments.”

  9. orthotic

^^^he’s not overrated, he just got hurt before he reached his prime. That’s why a lot of folks are hating on him. I’m not trying to force you to like him, all I’m saying is that before you speak research all the facts first. Who knows, if his injury wasn’t that serious, he could’ve went on to have an even more successful carrer and would’ve legitimately been a hall of fame icon first ballot after his carrer was over.

& the reason why he didn’t reach the 20 pt mark that much was because he was a pure assist man even though he could score. He was the gut that was feeding the ball to Shaq and all the rest of the guys. That’s the thing that people overlook.

  10. rod

to #33 and 34. do you see the pattern? shaq was the constant and the guards were interchangeble. kobe, dwade and penny did squat by themselves. Overall i’m unclear why you keep raving about penny. The injury was unfortunate, but going by his pre-injury stats, he wasn’t much. revist the #’s.. 21, 7, and 5(in his best yr) is very average. there’s a ton of players in that range. he barely averaged the 20pt mark and that was only 3times in his career. i get the shoes were nice and he had sucessful nike ads, but as a player he’s overrated.

  11. orthotic

My bad, on #33 I meant to say that “I know Penny didn’t win a ring, but you can say the same thing about Shaq not being as successful without Kobe, and D-Wade part. Hope that clears things up.

  12. orthotic

to #32, if you read correctly, I said that Penny HELPED lead his team to that NBA finals appearance. Sure Shaq was a big difference in that run, but what’s a big man without a guard like Penny to can kick it out to? It woulda been Hack-A-Shaq all day long. And, like I said before, I know Penny didn’t win a ring, but you can say the same thing for Shaq without Kobe and D-Wade. No disrespect to Shaq, but he would’nt made it as far as he did without those guys.

  13. rod

to #30, Shaq was the main reason Orlando was anything during that run. Watch the footage, note the stats. Dennis Scott, Nick Anderson, and Penny were equals on that team. Penny’s image and youth were the reasons his face was stamped on the team sucess. W/ out Shaq, Penny was a zero. And please, don’t bring up Olympic gold, because it was a layup/gimme pre 2k millenium. His role on the US team made no pivital difference. obsess over the shoes all you want, just don’t overrate him as some hall of fame icon. Funny thing these Nike’s are a Phoenix suns CW, where he did absolute squat and his career hit a downward spiral.

  14. jhov259

maybe little penny got a pair?

  15. orthotic

To #29, Penny Hardaway, before the injuries accomplished a lot when he was still healthy. He helped lead his team to an NBA Finals appearance, was an Olympic gold meadalist, and a multiple All-Star.

Sure he didn’t win a championship, but that doesn’t matter, well at least to me anyways. And on top of that some of his sneaks sometimes give J’s a run for their money. If that doesn’t warrant attention, I don’t know what does.

  16. rod

i really don’t get the fanatic obsession with penny. his mediocre career doesn’t warrant the attn

  17. fernee
