The Nike Air Force 1 is one of the top selling sneakers of all time. Though the possibilities are limitless for the Air Force Ones, few shoes are as classic as the “white on whites.” The Nike Air Force 1 has become a staple in hip hop and has made regular appearances on the feet of artists as well as in verses and the focus of entire songs. I like Bape, but I knew they were coming lmao. But I like them they are very comfortable to me, more so than the Air Force. Imo Yums should’ve been ahead of them. Only people who buy his shoes are those people who can’t listen to Lupe for more than a minute.

You can only get BAPES from Los Angeles or Soho, NYC. Only 2 real stores that sell Bape in the US, and they are the BAPE stores.

Nice post. I was amped recently when I received an e-mail from Kashi Kicks offering me free sneakers in exchange for a feature on my blog. I’d never heard of them before, but hit the link with an undeniable sense of anticipation…

of course, if you are looking for ankle protection and all that hight tech stuff you gotta get at the higher end brands that pour millions into R&D. but, honestly, how often are we buying kicks for anything other than style? not to sound preachy, cause i love sneakers as much as the next but ever since i was a kid and saw dudes in detroit gettin murdered for their jordans in the mid 90’s and heard no psa or P.R. from nike or Jordan himself on the mater i felt kind of ill towards expensive kicks and the corporations/individuals that push them. gotta have corpororate responsibility. great list though nice kicks. back in 02 you guys were no where near as hot as you are now

DETROIT FRESH makes a great point. There are plenty of sneakers out there with style for much cheaper than what we pay for our Nike Air sneakers, etc. I won’t trip cause I sometimes pay too much for sneakers and usually have more useful things to put my money toward. But we love the names we wear and their styles and pay whatever price they come up with. If I see a pair of sneakers I feel have style I will grab em if they are cheap or expensive.

oh, you can get white AF1’s. but when i buy them, they can considered temporary shoes. they might be crsip for 2 weeks a month if done properly, if only worn a few times, but in no time, i’ll be doing laundry in them. i call em disposable kicks. with all white AF1’s cant go wrong, but cant keep em too long

i personally dissagree.
I ALWAYS have a clean pair of air force ones, I wear them only on nice occasions, or if im trying to impress a girl.
I’m no rookie on this sneaker game either, Style game I’m more of your ‘veteran’, yet, I still love air force ones.
It’s all about your opinion on what you like i guess.
I collect nike sb’s and jordan’s just like the next guy, but i feel it is always necessary to have a clean pair of air force ones to go to a formal event in(if you dont want to wear dress shoes) or even just to go to a party..whatever it is, I don’t feel air force ones are dead. They are a classic, like chuck taylors.

On the real, I’d wear an all white pair of patent Starbury crossovers before I’d buy an all white pair of AF1s. I don’t wear a kick is it looks dirty. How many times can one rock a dingy pair of all white AF1s and expect props?

Maybe this can help jog some memories. About the only thing the Reebok Downtime has in common with the Air Force 1 is that it is leather, has perforations on the toebox, and has a cup sole. Beyond that, I think its pretty hard to say that the shoe was a rip off like the others listed.
