Air Jordan 11/12 CDP - Could it be?
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Nov 20, 2008 When the news broke last year about the concept of the Countdown Package broke, many began wondering (and salivating) for the Jordan 11/12 CDP. At last the Jordan 11 would return and would be paired with another great shoe, the Air Jordan 12.
For months the colors of the Jordan 11 and Jordan 12 have been a major mystery. Jordan Brand did help us out a little bit when they posted the colorways on their official release dates page, but JB has been known to throw some curve balls. At last, we have found photos that give what just might be the visual confirmation that we have been waiting for months. 52xie posted photos of what appears to be the Jordan 11/12 CDP displaying the Black/Red colorway of the Jordan 11 and the “Taxi” Jordan 12. ^ yeah the rumors had floated largely due to a pic that was posted on NT a few days ago that oldjumpman shared with us yesterday. I contacted the person from NikeTalk who posted it to get more information, but he didn’t respond so I held back on confirming it.
Even now, I hold some doubt, but judging by what the seller deals in, this is just as good as seeing them on familiar sites like marqueesole.

i saw the pictures too, but there is a CDP shoe box photo with a chinese sticker in that shoe box shows the color way of XII with a product number 1xxx….i will guess combination of Retro XII and XI…
and of course, it will be great if it’s true…

We can’t really tell if this will be the countdown colorway. The XII’s have been rumored to be different colors. It would help if he took pics on the inside to prove those aren’t just retros put together.

I got the 10’s and 13’s the 7’s and 16’s the 6’s and 17’s and most definately coppin these…the 20’s and 3’s were tempting but the 20’s were ashy and faded in person.

I would love for it to be the carolina blue colorway and the white patent leather joints or the grey joints I had to get a size bigger when those came I it pissed me off I hated when true jordan heads had non jordan heads that just wanted the shoe just because it was a hot color coming out taking the sizes and sh*t!!!! I wonder how much would it be to get every colorway of jordans that came out from 2-15 would cost me any guesses anyone I stopped caring about jordans in 03 and im not a fan of the 1s 3-15 i would pay some dough for tho in a size 12 that is a hard size to find

I like this pack but honestly i might get alot of hate i really liked the 16/7 pack that came out. The VII’s are my all time faves and the 16’s do resemble the XI (just a little though). But these are honestly hot!

P3 - I am with you as well, I loved the 16s and many will flip but more so than the 11s.. it’s no the shoe but the colorway I wish the 11s were in another color I could just never appreciate them in the bred though I’m not as crazy for 11s like many heads tend to be and 7s are a top fav but I am ready for these 12s!

Nice Kicks, honestly, you and me both know that this pack is a little disappointing. The XI’s are terrible, just look at the cut of the Patent Leather? The toe box looks bulky, more bulkier than the 01 Retro’s. Look like fakes in my opinion but obviously since 2006 Jordan Brand has been making quality shoes like this so I shouldn’t be surprised. The XII’s are okay, but no where near the way I imagined them too be. The quilting was done wrong, and there’s glue all over the shoe, matter fact, glue on both of them. No thanks JB, I’ll pass. I’d rather spend 300+ on OG Black/Red’s or Concords.

lol every 1 sweatin 2 pairs of retros 2gether dis aint da pack i work 4 champs and the 11s are correct but the 12s are black red cement gray. From wat it says in the release form we get. But at 1 point in time i heard space jam but it was last year wish they kept it dat way but i already kno its 4 me employee discount just cuz the 12s aint the same as the bred 12s hence the cement gray already got bred 11s but just gonna put on ice

Yeah , I’ve noticed some stores still have the hares and so on. The only cdp i copped was the 13/10 mainly for the 13s. but I was still happy with the shadows, they aren’t that bad. Some stores even are selling the carmines. I just want to know if I will be able to reserve these at finishline . i did for the first package. I wonder if they do onlune or phone reserves too. overall i can not WAIT!

IT’S BEEN COMFIRMED OF COURSE THAT THOSE WILL BE THE COLORWAYS FOR THE PACK, AND I ALSO HEARD THAT JORDAN BRAND PLANS TO RELEASE MANY OF THESE PACKS TO MAKE UP FOR THEIR LOSSES OF PACKS LIKE THE 22/1, 15/8 AND 21/2. I personally, don’t like any Jordans after XIV, seeing it never caught my attention and it doesn’t mean much. that is why in my Jordan collection, I’ve only acquired I-XIII. XIV isn’t in it seeing not much of the colorways stood out to me, other than the breds and playoffs.

On some real talk people who are saying this pack is for real jordan heads is stupid. Lets be real most real jordan heads have bred xi’s and should have a pair of og 12s or even retros. That being said why pay 310 for taxis that are going to be extremely cheap in quality. im not bashing JB but this is a joke. The quality on the 18s, 2s, 3s, and 4s in the CDPs have been extremely horrible. this is an instant pass

we are still not sure if these are the colorways, the taxi’s might change at the last minute, and employees WILL NOT be able to purchase, till customers buy first, so all you foot locker connections can FORGET getting a pair without lining up or waiting, you ppl are fool of crap if you think u can squeak by a pack from an employee/friend…
and this is coming from someone i know at foot locker.

u kno ppl continue to complain and complain about the quality and dey say oo jb can make em better if dey want nd blah blah blah but u have to understand..the economy is in serious trouble rite now…u cant xpect jb to make retros in dese cdp’s da same quality as retros from 02 03 04 etc and have dem b da same price…jb has 2 choices wen makin dese retros…1) reduce quality and keep da same price give or take a few bucks from da last retro or even da og price OR 2) increse quality and make dem as gud as dey were da last time dey were retroed or even da og’s BUT also increase price to compensate for all da xpensive materials used…now i do believe in my personal opinion dat da quality IS crappy but i dnt really complain cuzz i understand y dey r da way dey r
