“Black Friday” Nike Air Force 1 Detailed Shots
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Nov 28, 2008 DJ Clark Kent’s “Black Friday” Nike Air Force 1 made its world debut at the Nike Sportswear flagship store on Mercer Street in New York City at 4AM today. The shoe goes above and beyond what anyone could ever imagine with black pony hair covering most of the upper with other cosmetic accents that include lenticular material on the back panel, swoosh, and tongue as well as an unmistakable mid-sole wrap made of black patent leather with a chameleon paint effect. The shoe is finished off with with a leather lined interior giving the ultimate luxurious touch to compliment the outer part of the shoe.
Taking the Black Friday theme to heart, DJ Clark Kent arranged with Nike Sportswear to retail this sneaker at just $150. With the cost of materials and the fact that the shoes are an inside/out supreme model, this should retail for $300. These are pretty nice.
Much more nice, than the credit that’s being given.
And I’m not Clark Kent “ass kisser,” so let’s get that out of the way.

Makes me wonder how many of you even seen the Ueno Panda or any of the Safari kicks that dropped.
And you HAD to have to seen them, if you’re on NiceKicks… and if not on NiceKicks on; Sneakerfiles, KATC, etc. - if not, you’re a bunch of “posers” trying to play a role of a “sneakerhead.”
I’ll almost guarantee that many of you who claim to be disappointed with these, probably purchased and/or liked the Atmos Safari Air Max 1’s…
Anyway, I personally like these… if you’ve got “style” then these are as easy as elementary mathematics, to pull off!

wow that leather interior lining is pure butter!! I’ve never seen a cleaner inside on any sneaker.
It’s sooo smooth. When I wear low-cut socks the leather is like ice cold on my foot and then the leather warms up around my ankles. It feels soo dope.

I expected more…
AF1s usually dont look right when the midsole isn’t rubber, normal leather can do ok but when the midsole is shiny… Idk, the midsole is one of the biggest defining features of the af1 and I don’t think you need to do that kind of stuff to it. I’d have left it plain white rubber. The material he used on that swoosh looks crazy, but I would have left the heel full grain or pony.
