David Z x Adidas Superstar “Black Tie Project” Photoshoot
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Nov 20, 2008 David Z has become somewhat of a regular in the news about sneakers, but their latest work with Adidas is unlike anything we have ever seen. In a joint effort with Adidas, Ronnie Fieg of David Z set out to accomplish the task of dressing the timeless Adidas Superstar into a shoe fit for a Black Tie affair.
While some detailed photos of the shoes may highlight the quality choice of materials, photographer Jared Ryder highlights the dress factor bringing out the suits to show the versatility of this luxurious sneaker. Get a preview of the shoe as well as see the rest of the best from the photoshoot after the break. my personal thought is…nope. still looks like a suoerstar. which i think is not bad, don’t get me wrong, but i don’t think is dressy enough for a black tie affair. Matt, holla @ me!!!!!

from what i see the toe was changed to leather… a little patent, good to go with a suit. check out the details minor.
