Jordan Melo M5 “Court Blue”
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Nov 13, 2008 Last week we gave you a first look at Carmelo Anthony’s fifth signature shoe with Jordan Brand, the Jordan Melo M5 in an all black colorway. Releasing along with the all black pair is white based colorway pictured to the right. While we have seen many of the Melo shoes release in colorways that match the Denver Nuggets jerseys, this “Court Blue” colorways takes a different approach and comes in its own unique color set.
Complete for a versatile player, the shoe has everything one would need on court barely tipping the scales at 15 oz., “M” pattern traction sole, forefoot and heel Zoom Air, as well as stability to protect the ankles of a franchise player. JB should have all the Team Jordan member i.e: Ray, CP3, Finley, Melo, Joe Joe, Bibby, Rip, Jo. Howard, Jaw. Howard, Jared Jeffries, Derek Anderson, Eddie Jones, Fred Jones, Q Rich, Bobby Simmons and even the member from other sports. Wear each others shoe but in their own teams colorway just to mix things up and give us some unique JB’s to rock other than those Bum A$$ Fusion and Packs. You may not agree but it’s original kicks in sick colors. I spoke to Q. Rick last Sunday after the game about this and he digs it. He was in Harlem with Duhon and Crawford eating. I’m still wondering who was driving the Phantom, Continental GT and that Bum white Range. LMAO

eh…these coo. Jus doesn’t strike me as a must have shoe. Melo’s never do. These remind of a downgraded Jordan XXIII. The black ones look better.

I totally agree with everyone - a much better colorway. I’m really feeling how they made the Melo logo bigger on the shoes but made it subtle.

Wow, way better. I was feeling the black colorway, but this is much much better. I know that white isnt a friendly color for NY winters, but at least that toebox is patent!

SO SICK! This is a really fresh colorway. I am glad to see that Jordan Brand ditched the Nuggets colors for something original. I would 10-1 wear these colors than baby blue with yellow.
