Kicks On Court: Adidas Caters Chauncey…Finally - November 24th, 2008

Remember how you felt when that one pair of shoes you wanted so bad finally arrived…or that one pair you couldn’t wait to wear for the first day of school? Well, Denver Nuggets guard Chauncey Billups had to have felt the same way when he received his ‘Mr. Big Shot’ Adidas TS Creator in the Denver Nuggets colorway. If you have been following our Kicks On Court (KOC) and checked out our “When Sh*t Happens” post, you have seen Billups hooping in a Detroit Pistons colorway of the Adidas TS Creator while playing for the Nuggets (which left a lot of “wtf”, “lol” and “What is he wearing?” in the comment section). Last night, against the Chicago Bulls, Chauncey finally laced up a pair of the Adidas TS Creator white/skyblue-yellow. Also, in case you missed our Chris Paul weekend post, check out the two pair of Air Jordan 23’s he hooped in after the jump. Many of you thought Paul’s Air Jordan 23’s were by far the best colorway seen on this sneaker. CP3 is letting it be known that he is the JB member with the best PEs this year. While not quite the 23’s, check out a rare sighting of fellow JB member D.J. Augustin sporting the Air Jordan 22 form the CDP. Those PE’s on OJ Mayo are nice. And the Hyperdunk/Kobe 4 hybrid look much better than the Kobe 4’s on their own.

^agree not feeling the regular color ways but the sky blue and white joints (the ones wit more sky blue) r looking like fire, also the vi”s r looking clean like always im feeling that red n white PE want better pics!! also the adidas r ugly 2.5’s ok CP white and NC blue 23’s r dope, jumpan team’s r not that great, andthe hyper dunks cool 2

I think its crazy how it took them so long to give Billups a new colorway. It shouldn’t have taken longer than a week at most. And by the way, doesn’t CP3 have his own shoe? Why does he keep wearing the XX3’s? did he get tired of wearing team J’s?

I must agree these kicks are hot!!! Mr Big Shot that is and its unacceptable to lose to the wolves pistons I can understand the celtics but the wolves???? Please hopefully Mcdyess can bring order to this team cuz without him the celtics will stuggle to win 50 games now they will win 50-53 easy pending no major injuries the iverson trade is still work in progress give it till Allstar break to tell grade this team they will win games on sheer talent but its when they arent on fire thats has to be established he will be to go to guy in the end

THANK YOU ADIDAS! Those were a painful two weeks of Chauncey looking all mismatched on the court.
I know that Adidas is the official sponsor of the NBA, but I wonder if Stern was fining Mr. Billups this whole time.
