Hot on the heels of the introduction of his upcoming Pastelle clothing line and his Louis Vuitton kicks. I personally like these because the remind me of the early 90s basketball shoes not because of Kanye . Kanye grew up in the heyday of nike shoes so you would expect his shoe design to lean more towards that era than today’s high end designer shoes like lanvin or ato his shoe embodies the best of his time huarache , air carnivore, jordans 3 and 5 , air assault, command fore, air 180 . The dude is paying homage to those days I can feel how he designed them. Ye embodies how his generations fashion. I have a cousin to this day who only wears polo and has a closet full of early jordans , air max and nike shoes he still wears. People really wore the polo gooses ,matching belts ,colorful hoodies and high top sneakers. Look at the tv show different world dudes dress the same now as in those days supreme and all these ” street wear ” brands are really copying designs from the 90s and late eighties . These kicks are dope, some of the colorways are a little out there but what do you expect from a Kanye inspired shoe? Do you always like every colorway that comes out in Jordans or AF1′S? Doubt it. You can’t be mad at the guy for trying something he wants to try since he EARNED the right to be influential as far as style and clothing/shoes. I think the black pair are the illest but the colorway above it is bananas to. NO WAY will these be under 150! But I do think that one dude has a point…if weezy jefferson was coming out with a pair of kicks you’d all buy just because it’s that dude. But these kicks are just dope…..get em….support em, or why comment?

they ight… i dont see why people are so pressed…i have tons of kicks in my closet that i love but would just be classics…they arent exclusive….in a couple of years people arent going to cherish them… they’ll just be another pair of cool kicks under the bed..
