Nike Zoom LeBron 6 “Big Apple”

Nike Zoom LeBron 6 - Big AppleTomorrow, November 25th, 2008, LeBron James and the Cavs travel to New York to face the Knicks for the first time this year. King James conquered the Knicks last March when he came to the Garden and put up 50 points, 10 assists, 8 rebounds while wearing the NY themed Nike Zoom LeBron 5 “Yankees”.

In tomorrow’s game, LeBron will take the court in this exclusive colorway of his latest sneaker called the Nike Zoom LeBron 6 “Big Apple”. Obviously, the colorway receives its inspiration from New York City’s nickname. The upper is covered in “candy apple” red perforated leather and patent leather accents. This sneaker is complimented with a uniquely speckled midsole as well.

LeBron James fans can purchase this Zoom LeBron VI “Big Apple” in New York City on Friday, November 28. The shoe will be available for $140 at select retailers such as Niketown and House of Hoops NY. Click the jump to view more detailed pics of the Nike Zoom LeBron 6 “Big Apple.”

UPDATE:  We just received word that the Alife Rivington Club will also have these in stock.  Thanks Chris!

“Cleveland is not investing in talent to support LeBron and it is becoming more and more evident that they have no plans to”

Have you guys looked at the Power Rankings lately?

    Or, the Eastern Conference Standings?

Or, the overall record of Cleveland? Who said there is not enough talent around LBJ, I couldn’t disagree with you guys more!

  5. greenmaker24

    dont like them

  6. Big Wunz

First of all… the sneaks are hot. Secondly, I find it VERY amusing (almost comical) how people can suggest that Cleveland hasn’t done anything to appease Lebron and bring him rings. This is coming from supporters of a team that had P. Ewing for ions and couldn’t get him a title.

Right now, the Cavs are arguably (if not the best) the second best team in the East, and the third best in the league. This ALSO, is the same franchise that only two seasons back went to the NBA Finals, and a team that evolved from a 17 game winner a year prior to Lebron’s arrival, to a legitimate force. BTW… how many years did it take before MJ finally won his first ring??

In short, I think we’ve come A LONG way, and remember… WE WILL HAVE MAD CAP SPACE IN 2010 ALSO! Hmmm… can you all imagine us RETAINING Lebron AND adding say, umm… a Bosh, Stoudamire, or Wade??? I smell championship that way too. LOL!

  7. Sivan YaC

I like these …. and lebron will end up with the knicks in 2010 wit bosh and harrington and duhon resigned…GO NY GO NY GO!!!

  8. Eric Spiller

Champs Sports in Times Square will also have 23 pairs!! Get there quick.

  9. Cru Jones

I’m not into these at all

  10. Darneezy

LOL @ you people over analyzing things!

#1: They’re termed “The Big Apple” because of the colorway.
#2: Also because of the RETURN TO “The Big Apple” where he slaughtered the Knicks!

#3: Like it or NOT, LeBron is a fan of the Yankees, although being from Akron and only minutes from Cleveland.

I could understand if he all of a sudden, seemed like a “traitor” recently…
But truthfully, he’s been what you’d call a “traitor” all his life and you can’t fault people for who they become a fan of, in sports.

These DO NOT mean he hates Cleveland currently, NOR does it mean he’s giving signs of a move to NY in 2010.

    Calm down.

  11. Robbie

This is retarded. He doesn’t play for the kicks, he plays in Cleveland. It is not fair to the city or their fans for nike to make a shoe like this.

  12. Suwoop

honestly yall who cares where lebron or any other agents go for that matta cuz whereevr they go they will bring they nasty skills with them and tear it up on any team they are on

  13. Looser Kid

Firstly…. i dont see all the bashers of the lebrons on here 2 day… i guess cuz they finnaly realized this is a DOPE ASS SNEAKER!!!!… this colorway is ESPECIALLY DOPE….

anyways….. they need 2 keep Curry’s fat ass cuz at least that gives em a descent rebounder…. grab bosh and lebron…. and pick up a veteran Andre Miller as the pg… who by the way is prolly the most underated point guards in the and is prolly number 3 on my list of true point guards in the leage right now….

    The list
    1. Chris Paul ( biased im from new orleans)
    2. Deron Williams
    3. Andre Miller (excellent ballhandler/ passer and can play D!!)
    4. J. Kidd (cant really score any more.. but he rebounds… plays d… and could prolly be one of the best passers when he is 60 years old)
    5. Steve Nash (His lack of any form of defense is why i believe he is the most OVERATED person 2 ever win mvp… How do u win MVP when u arnt even the second best player on your team) (marion and amare)

  14. justin the great

dont really look like basketball shoes.

  15. swanson

THESE ARE THE BEST PAIR THAT I HAVE SEEN!

  16. Darneezy

Like that color, can’t stand the VI though.
    :(

  17. cew123

i dont get y people keep insisting that the cavs need to rebuild, as if they suck. incase u havent noticed theyre 10-3, 1st in central, recently won 8 in a row, undefeated at home. mo williams has been tearing it up, so has delonte west. this isnt the same team lebron came into the league with. this team is very solid. and on a side note, lebron has already said, and i quote “You know i love you cleveland, i aint goin nowhere”

  18. marcel

    stupid

  19. pup

ive just fallen in love with the new lebrons, real nice shoe here

  20. infamos

these are pretty hot.as 4 lebron coming to new york i think that would be a great idea. i love the knicks as they are now (fav team) and i believe they have alot of potential just a crappy coach *cough, cough*Isiah Thomas *cough*. if the knicks get/had a better coach they probly would never need lebron they did almost for the millionth time in a row make it to the playoffs.knicks 2010!!!!

  21. solesaved

Lebron HEART my be in cleveland and the state he’s from, but it’s about championships and unless cleveland does some MAJOR rebuilding or spend some money to bring some players in it’s gonna be on the moving truck with Jay Z and the Nets off to Crooklyn. The sneaks not bad either.

  22. THE REALLEST

    NAH! IM STRICKTLY JORDANS….

  23. keysd31

#12 in what interview did u hear that? Lebron gone go where ever the ring music is gone be and its damn sure not in NY or NJ.

  24. Jerronimo

I agree Nice Kicks. Lebron is an intelligent Man, he is not going to jump to another low caliber team. They will bow to the king and get him the help he needs. I am a Kobe fan, he is the best player in the NBA (for now). Lebron is next in line tho. Lebron will go to the Knicks with a co-star. The Celtics reign will be dried up by then. Until then.. GO LAKERS!!

By the way, these are the best Lebron colorway yet…..

  26. m0neyindabankk

yes, which is why they’re gonna dump Curry’s contract, clear enough salary cap, and bring in D.Wade as well . with that its a wrap . everybody else might as well be playing for 2nd place in the coming decade

  27. Harry

The quality looks really good on these kicks…i don’t see Lebron getting past Kobe’s Lake Show even with a Chris Bosh if the young Lakers Bynum, Farmar, Ariza, and Vujacic keep improving…those gys are killing as a team

  28. JP

for you people saying you hope he goes to Detroit, too bad he already said he will only play for Cleveland, NJ, or NY.

  29. Hyperdunkman

    LETS GO KNICKS!!!!

  30. keysd31

Lebron, Stuckey, T.P, Jason Maxielle. Thats all i got to say

  31. keysd31

I dont kno why yall keep sayin that hes goin to the knicks, he commin to the pistons. Thats his best shot right there, Stucky lebron and T.P on the same court Oh and J Max. I see Monsters! Im just keepin it real.

  32. Dixon Syder

LeBron is, was, & always has been heading to the Brooklyn Nets. Clevland can hate but they can’t ignore how long he’s been on the grind to make his home team league caliber. Nash would be a better coach than continuing to play any where. By trading VC the Netw have enough to get an A+ point guard. There’s still another year of card shuffling before the 2010 dealing is set to take place…sit back & enjoy the show! Oh by the way the kicks are cool but I still think the Vs were better looking.

anyone know if these will release in detroit michigan

  34. bjthatguy313

any one know if they will release in detroit michigan??

The day LeBron leaves for NEW YORK Is the day he will be hated by many People lets be real! he can go anywhere but NY im tellin you People gonna be pissed!

  36. zane

    nice lookin casual shoe!!

  37. BK-BIG-JAY-718

Did you see what Dantoni made Nash? He used to be a fancy guy who turned the ball over a lot. Look at what he is now. Notice how Dantoni made the Knicks decent already. He made them so much better than expected that Walsh had to get rid of all hope of the playoffs by getting rid of his best players now. I can see it now. You’ll see so many Knick jerseys that they will become Americas team like the Cowboys

  38. john

I see LeBron in NY alongside Bosh and a veteran Nash (with a young but talented point learning from an aging Nash).

    ROTFLOL.

Teach Eddie Curry to run with LBJ and tell Nate to pass first and then LBJ *might* get a chance at a ring.

    LMAO.

  40. Nice Kicks

^ not with today’s Knicks or today’s Nets, but no way is someone going to lay down the money for LeBron without making sure they have the adequate funds to get other All-Stars to assemble a Championship team.

  41. cj

Lebron won’t win any rings on Knicks or Nets, PERIOD.

  42. hotness

how bout him going to europe? that would suck =P

  43. Nice Kicks

“LBJ is going to stay in Cleveland, his heart was there all along.” - Stoj23

LeBron is a true competitor at heart. No amount of money will take him to Europe because he wants to be the best in the world facing the world’s best talent any given night. Something a competitor like he probably CAN’T stand is not getting in the books as the best. Say what you want, but no rings on his fingers is getting to him. Cleveland is not investing in talent to support LeBron and it is becoming more and more evident that they have no plans to.

LeBron wants rings and unless Cleveland is going to bring him a Scottie Pippen caliber sidekick and John Stockton caliber point guard, I see LeBron in NY alongside Bosh and a veteran Nash (with a young but talented point learning from an aging Nash).

  44. Big D

to comment #2…how can you tell them to not hop on the bandwagon? its near impossible for them to not if he were to join in 2010.

  45. Nice Kicks

haha, i never bashed the Knicks for the record - just Isaiah’s (lack of) coaching abilities.

  46. Stoj23

Know what? LeBron isn’t going anywhere!

LBJ is going to stay in Cleveland, his heart was there all along.

  47. BK-BIG-JAY-718

HMM, big apple huh? Is lebron trying to hint something to us? NY Knicks 2010? To all Knick bashers, dont hop on the bandwagon when it happens

  48. McKriss

    Hot!
    first 6’s I like
