Air Jordan 1 Retro Infrared
Posted by Nick Engvall | Dec 4, 2008 Let’s face it, recent Air Jordan 1 releases have left a little something to be desired. This upcoming release takes one of the most iconic colorways in Nike history, made famous by the Air Max 90, the “Infrared” colorway.
The Air Jordan 1 Infrared was set to drop at the end of January, these photos leaked from a Jordan Brand sales rep, who mentioned they “might” drop in March. You know how Jordan Brand loves to take the “smoke and mirrors” approach on giving up information on upcoming releases, with a color combo this fresh, it’s no surprise this drop is no different. what makes infrared so great is only like on the bottom or midsoles of iconic sneakers i have around seven kicks that have infrared but i always thought that if infrared colorway is the whole sneaker it would look pink and i wont buy it so thank you jb for proving me right and i will save my money this time around release white/red/black og hi 1s already, i been waiting since 94

not feeling these. they look like a faded/fake pair of bred 1’s i love that nike came back with the high top 1’s but sofar the only good color way was the lasers

infrared is a colorway
that shuld be used in moderation imo
the execution of shoe was ok but
im hoping that Starks or sumbodi
comes out with sum dope white/infrared laces!

Pretty dope. They turned out way better than i expected. Shoulda used a different material for the infared tho. Crease-city.

Underrated already …. these joints pop and everybody will want them later. I’m for sure copping. Mark my words. They “hype” may be low now, but it will be different come time for release…..just like another shoe I called out *cough* XX3 *cough**cough*
btw, I’m glad they changed the release date b/c if they drop in March, that gives me more time to recover from the Nov/Dec releases and also buy some more decreasers since Is crease like crazy. Still, this is a can’t miss!

At least they couldve modeled a pair that aint creased at the toe. Bad first impression. Besides I got the Jordan 1 blk/red straps which looks way better than these and in 2009 it JB RIP (unless some good retro surprises come out) for me

this is a great idea IMO because most nike fans love the infared color way and what better place to put it than on one of the most loved jordans of all time.
knowing jordan it probably will be a quikstrike so im waiting for the “hype” to begin :-/
but none the less i like them and think its NEW but not over doing it like theyve done in the past
