Air Jordan Fusion 6 Collection
Posted by George Kiel III | Dec 22, 2008 For those of you who dig the “Fusion” look, expect to see a plethora of them in 2009 (shown after the jump). Set for release next year, the Air Jordan Fusion 6 will come in many different styles including this White/Red colorway.
The Air Jordan 6 Fusion features perforated air holes that sit atop the leather upper reminiscent of the Air Jordan 6. It also possesses a removable strap similar to the Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi Strap that hit stores last month. In addition to the mid-cut version, two low-cut models will be released as well. As stated earlier, the Air Jordan Fusion 6 Mid will hit retailers in 2009 for $160, while the low-cut colorways will round out at $135. Click the jump to view photos of each colorway. Hmmm… was thinking about getting these, but I’ll pass.
Again, I must state my position, again: Fusions aren’t what’s “damaging” the Jordan Brand: it’s them purposely making some models so hard to get that it gets beyond silly (i.e., CDP 11/12), while putting out crap like all those multi colored “Team Shoes” that mostly end up on sale racks or at Nike Outlets.
The best AJFs in my opionion have been the Fusion 12, Fusion 5, and Fusion 20.
And young folks, please, there are no “worldwide relases” of special or “custom” Fusion XX3s. If you’re rockin’ them, please… just take them off… they’re soooooooo ridiculously fake I just wanna give you $150.00 out of my pocket to send you to Footlocker to cop a real pair of Js.

I’m getting the wht/red mids and maybe the UNC ones since i’m a Tar Heels fan. But I still don’t like the idea of fusions. I’m going to get the two i stated above but I’m anxious for the new packs in 09. I’d rather buy 2 pair or VIs or IVs instead of a pair of fusions anyday.

The white/red white/pink white/concord look pretty nice. They not bad at all. But for $160 i’d be better off buying a numbered retro like a XIV or a VIII or something. Fusions cost a lil to much i think. I would’nt buy any and have’nt bought any yet, but i’d wear em if somebody bought em for me, i mean their not ugly their a nice lil knock around shoe.

Quickstrike in feb mostly likely towards the end of the month my connect said is going to be black/infrared VI so bunch of crapola fusions and one great release that is going to be mad paper when it hits cause of the hype. mostly likely it wont compare in terms of quality from the last retro.
