The PHLY is a similar to the Blazer, kind of a vintage feel with upgraded technology to keep your feet a little more comfy. This PHLY (no pun intended) colorway was inspired by the white, varsity red and cement Air Jordan 3. As with other versions of the PHLY, the wings logo is applied on the ankle and on the back of the ankle it reads MCMLXXVIII aka 1978, the year Jordan first met Pop Herring, MJ’s high school coach, who inspired these kicks. You can already scoop these on eBay for about $80, but retail stores should have them on the shelves now as well. Is Jordan going the right direction with these latest lifestyle releases? |

When are these coming out in stores? I’ve been trying to pick me up a pair of these, but i can only find them in low tops or black. I really want these. Where can I find them besides the internet?

Yo this shoe was actually made in 1987 it was called the Jordan Sky High it was a concept of how the jumpman would look on a pair of shoes and they chose an all court ( canvas blazer ) . So this is not new . oh and by the way the elephant is good it brings back that old school vibe

Neither of the Cement PHLY’s have enough “cement” on them.
That little in the front, on the toes, do no justice.
They should’ve been on the entire toe section.
Overall, the PHLY is for the casual look.
Nothing more, nothing less.

This shoe is right on point for the styles that are trendy right now.
It’s like dopasaurus said if this style came out from supra, everybody would be all on it, Jordan heads are just fans of the classics.
You can’t knock JB for trying to grab a bigger market.

sometimes i get the feeling that some people just take jordan’s a little to seriously. i backed off of jordan as a young’n when i saw friends gettin shot for these and MJ himself nor nike had much of anything to say about it. who cares tho right?………
shoes are ok tho, some one with style could pull these off EASILY. easy to look fly in a pair sneaks everyone thinks is fly anyway. the test is in turning heads in a pair of sneakers that wouldn’t have gotten half as much attention off your feet. I AM DETROIT FRESH AND I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE.

jordan brand loves that cement… it was fresh when they had a couple pairs with it, but now that every other drop has them, it’s not really that tight anymore.
