Converse Weapon 2009 Colorways
Posted by Nick Engvall | Dec 16, 2008 Many of you may not know, that the Converse Weapon was one of the first shoes to inspire NBA ballers to become rappers. Magic, Bird, and Isaiah Thomas all dropped verses in the 80’s about these kicks, that are now returning in 2009 in three new colorways.
First up, a white and red colorway that could have found a home on the feet of Isaiah Thomas. A white and green colorway that seems to be designed with the Celtics home jersey’s in mind, maybe had Larry been up to par on his shoe game, he would have been rockin’ these on the hardwood of the Garden back in the day. Last up, a New York Knicks colorway, that could have been seen through the 80’s on the feet of Bernard King. as for the sneakers i have always hated these so i dont even know why i clicked on the title lol sorry converse weapon lovers… the only ones i ever bought were for my older brother and i only got them because they were the inspi(red) and the $$ went to a good cause lol

no. 8: was thinking the exact same thing. Kevin McHale is not the best either, haha. That just goes to show: white men can’t rap.
As for the shoes, the red’s are cool. The orange on the Knicks colorway looks too bright.
