Crooks & Castles x Vans Fremont “Gucci”
Posted by Nick Engvall | Dec 8, 2008 You got a look at some “Gucci” inspired kicks last month from both Adidas and Nike. This month we got a preview for an upcoming collab between Vans and Crooks & Castles.
The Crooks & Castles x Vans Fremont “Gucci” comes in your choice of black or white, both feature “Gucci” inspired accent colors in the form of green/red/green ankle straps. The white comes in a perforated leather and croc-skin, while the black is similar but gets a touch of patent leather as well. These are scheduled to drop in Spring of 2009 at the Crooks & Castles flagship store in Los Angeles. Do these “go hard” or “trying to hard?” Photos of both colorways after the jump via KicksonFire. |

Umm I’ll be the first to say that the “Gucci” inspiration for sneakers is starting to get played out… Too many of these “Gucci” inspired sneakers have dropped in the past couple months… I will say that the white ones are nice… But I think for the black ones, they are trying way too hard… Sometimes less is more…
