Jordan CP3 II
Posted by Matt Halfhill | Dec 21, 2008 Chris Paul has made almost daily appearances on our Kicks on Court column showcasing NBA superstars wearing great kicks, but coming soon is something special for Chris that will help keep him in that column on a regular basis.
Debuting to the public in March, the Jordan CP3 II, designed by Jordan Brand Senior Footwear Designer Jason Mayden (who is having a big year in 2009), is the second signature shoe for the young superstar. The opening day will feature two colorups; one in all black and another that takes inspiration from the Hornet’s hometown of New Orleans. The shoes feature a few similar lines to the Melo M5, specifically the midfoot section of the sole and overall silhouette. Check out higher res shots of both pairs releasing March 14th for $122. |

Its Christmas Eve, and i say that these kicks are a piece of crap just like the first CP3’s. Poor Chris doesn’t quite deserve this crap at all. Melo M5 all da way.

What are you guys lookin at? these are horrid. Mann JB and Nike are messing up. These and the MJ 2009’s are some of the worse shoes ive ever seen, if i was Chris Paul i wouldnt even want these shoes to represent me, we need Tinker to save us again, like he did with the Jordan 3.

i really like them, sneaker havent been that creative since the 90’s especially in the early 90’s. i think its a sick sneaker, if i had a son or a daughter i would rock it with them. i havent baught any sneakers outside of the signature numbered j’s but i would collect these,if this shoes proceeds go st8 to aid of katrina victims i’ll buy them on principle alone. nice desing jason mayden. wutang

The transitions finally happening but people are gonna sleep on it for a while. The CP3 is the air apparent in the Jordan brand now that the 23 has officially been retired. Chris Paul is a straight up gangsta hoopa with more skills, drive and work ethic than the lazy natural talent that embodies Melo. Plus the the New Orleans color schemes are endless, with beads, music and alcohol floating abreast, the city appeals to the younger generation.

The first pair look real clean. You can clearly see the 23’s all over this shoe.. its crazy. The black ones IMO look too plain like melo 5’s (which are lame btw).
